Before the "Flip or Flop" finale aired, El Moussa took a walk down memory lane on Instagram by sharing a series of throwback pictures featuring him and Haack on the HGTV show.
On Thursday, March 17, the real estate investor got emotional as he recalled his humble rise to fame. The 40-year-old wrote:
"I can't believe this journey started in May 2010 with a home video and a dream of flipping houses on tv. It's crazy to think 12 years later; it's coming to an end. I've spent almost a third of my life committed to this show."
The father-of-two explained that he spent the week reminiscing while searching for the perfect pictures that represented what the "show and experience" meant to him.
However, the home-improvement star couldn't squeeze a decade worth of memories into a single post, so he focused on paying tributes to everyone who made the journey worthwhile. The Flipping guru wrote:
"Thank you to everyone who has put their blood, sweat, and tears into this show to make it what it is today—big shoutout to the crew, our contractors @tarekbuyshousesllc, and our HGTV family."
The "Tarek's Flip Side" also dedicated a sweet message to Haack, in which he praised the 38-year-old for being a fantastic co-star. The entertainer's caption read:
"A special thank you to @christinahaack for taking this journey with me. I think we did a pretty good job, and I'm excited for what the future holds for both of us and wish her nothing but the best!"

As for fans of the Flipping show, the California native assured his followers that this wasn't the end by writing, "I would say I'm going to miss you guys but...I'm not going anywhere."
The TV personality wasn't the only one planning his return to TV, as Haack shared similar sentiments while marking the end of her "Flip Or Flop" era.
Taking to Instagram, the mother-of-three shared a picture of a beautifully decorated kitchen with simple colors and minimal features that created a clutter-free space.
The 38-year-old affectionately captioned this gorgeous image with a thank you note to fans for their unyielding support throughout the HGTV series.
The blonde beauty also implored viewers to watch the show's finale, which she promised would be another incredible house transformation, as shown in her post.
As for her plans, the Real estate investor announced that viewers should anticipate watching her tackle more projects on her reality TV show, "Christina on the Coast."
Christina Haack Returned To TV With New Episodes Of Her HGTV series
Earlier in March, The Blast reported that Haack would be returning to TV with new episodes of her HGTV series, "Christina on the Coast."
The California heartthrob shared the exciting news on social media via a post that expressed her joy for the show's revival after a short break in 2021.
The reality TV series followed the entertainer's life as a career woman and mother to three children. It also highlights the 38-year-old's "expertise in real estate, interior designs, and house-flipping."
Unlike "Flip Or Flop," where Haack shared the spotlight with her ex-husband El Moussa, "Christina on the Coast" was solely focused on the real estate investor.
Naturally, fans celebrated the show's return with supportive comments, but one particular statement was hard to miss, and it came from none other than Haack's fiancé Josh Hall.
The adoring lover wrote, "That’s my girl! Looking forward to seeing you showcase all your mad skills for the lucky homeowners who get to be part of this season."
The pair previously made headlines after rumors implied that the couple secretly got married not long after announcing their engagement in September.
However, the lovebirds weren't worried about these speculations as Haack shared a PDA picture of the couple and tagged it with a red heart, padlock, and key emoji.
