The outlet exclusively reported the model was having issues with her brain that affected the way she moved, which are symptoms much older people would experience.

It was later revealed by Hailey that she had a “very small” blood clot in her brain.

Hailey issued a message to her Instagram Stories on Saturday, March 12, to share the news of her hospitalization with her fans.

Justin reflected on the incident on Wednesday, March 16, during his show in Denver, CO.

The singer’s show experienced some technical difficulties that caused the power to go out, which triggered Justin to talk about “curveballs.”

In a video shared to social media by @angiebeebs, Justin tells the packed arena, “You know, it’s kind of crazy how life randomly throws you curveballs.”

“But she’s OK, she’s good, she’s strong. But it’s been scary, you know? Like, it’s been really scary,” JB admitted. “But I know for a fact that God has her in the palm of his hands and that’s a good thing.”

A source close to the couple previously told PEOPLE that the “Baby” singer is “probably more traumatized than even she is.”

“When it happened, there was a lot of panic. Justin was crying, because you don’t expect your young wife to have symptoms that resemble a stroke,” the source continued. “Justin texted everyone he knew and asked everyone to pray for her, and he never left her side.”

“He was saying that he can’t lose her, that whatever it takes, he wanted the best medical treatment available,” the source continued. “He would’ve done anything to help her. It was a moment for them both to be reminded about mortality, and focusing on what really matters.”

And he has everyone around him praying for her continued good health. It shook him up.”
