Tom Hiddleston is one A-list actor with millions of women fangirling over his every move and following his relationships. He and his girlfriend Zawe Ashton stunned their fans after appearing together at the recently held BAFTAs.

Hiddleston and Ashton met on the set of the 2019 play Betrayal and started dating shortly after. The news of their engagement broke after BAFTA's red carpet host AJ Odudu, shared a photo of Ashton sporting a massive diamond ring.

The 41-year-old actor and the 37-year-old actress have been dating since they worked together on Betrayal, and it seems that they are finally ready to tie the knot. During the recently held 2022 BAFTA ceremony, Ashton hid her left hand in the folds of her dress as the two walked the red carpet.

The "Velvet Buzzsaw" actress looked breathtaking in a long pink cape dress while the "Thor: Ragnarok" actor was very handsome in a black blazer and trousers. Later on, the couple caught up with Odudu, who then posted a picture that showed off Ashton's left hand with what seems like a big shiny engagement ring.

In the picture, Ashton's hand was placed on Odudu's left arm as the three celebrities smiled for the camera, revealing a beautiful diamond ring on her left finger. Odudu posted the photo with the caption, "Fun BAFTA bits kicking off with @britishvogue X @tiffanyandco. I needed a Berroca & a hug yesterday."

Ashton and Hiddleston have always been very private about their relationship, and it was a while after Betrayal before fans knew they were dating. The play follows a seven-year affair between two characters, Emma (played by Ashton) and Jerry (played by Charlie Cox), who is a friend of Emma's husband, Robert (played by Hiddleston).

Hiddleston and Ashton finally confirmed their relationship when they were seen having steamy PDA sessions during their vacation to Ibiza in September last year. They then made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Tony Awards, which was held in New York.

It was also recently revealed that Hiddleston and Ashton had moved in together in a new apartment in Atlanta, Georgia. Sources close to the couple told the press that they are "very well suited and enjoy the quieter side of life."

One source told The Sun that, "Tom and Zawe have stayed quiet about their relationship, but she has spent the last few weeks with him in the US. They are very well suited and enjoy the quieter side of life away from the glitz and glamour of the showbiz world."

The source also said that Hiddleston, in particular, was being very lowkey about his relationship with Ashton because of the crazy attention his past relationship with singer Taylor Swift drew. 

The anonymous insider also told The Sun, "Tom really has fallen for Zawe in a big way. But he is so paranoid about his private life since his relationship with Taylor that he has gone to great lengths to keep this under wraps."

Hiddleston himself spoke to the New York Times after his relationship with Swift ended and said, "Yes, I'm protective about my internal world now in probably a different way. That's because I didn't realise it needed protecting before."

His relationship with the "Bad Blood" singer was a very public one as they were always going out together and traveled a lot together. They first met at the 2016 Met Gala after Swift split from Calvin Harris. She met his mother, and he flew with her to her adopted home of Nashville, but three months later, they called it quits.
