She held an adoption party for her beloved cat, Meep, and asked her fans to contribute ideas for the best cocktail and mocktail drink centered around her cat.
Amy Schneider Offered Prizes For Best Cat-Themed Cocktail Recipes
Submit your ideas for Meep drinks in the replies! We’ll pick one winning cocktail and one mocktail, and each winner will get a signed copy of a photo of me and Meep (US only) and a donation in your name to your local SPCA. Can’t wait to see your ideas! pic.twitter.com/x0XTXzlLV5

In a lengthy Twitter thread, Amy explained that “The anniversary of Meep’s adoption is coming up, and we’re having a party! Sadly, you’re not invited (Meep isn’t big on strangers), but we need your help! We would like to serve Meep-themed mocktails and cocktails, but we don’t know what they would be. That’s where you come in!”
“Submit your ideas for Meep drinks in the replies!” she continued. “We’ll pick one winning cocktail and one mocktail, and each winner will get a signed copy of a photo of me and Meep (US only) and a donation in your name to your local SPCA. Can’t wait to see your ideas!”
“(Clarification: we will be serving these drinks to humans, not to Meep!)” she added.
She continued, “Some of Meep’s interests to (maybe) help spark some inspiration: -Meeping -Her stuffed avocado -Sitting on suitcases -(As seen above) sticking her paw in the bathtub -Hates closed doors -Watching birds.”
Fans Had Some Incredible Responses!

Many fans had some really clever and interesting ideas!
I had a rubber duck drink recently that I loved! I think it would be so cute to put rubber ducks on top of blue cocktails like a little bathtub but also for bird watching reasons! Maybe a blue martini? (Or any blue drink!) pic.twitter.com/DTfwWImszt

For a mocktail, I propose a “Don’t Shut the Door’ange” (Orange Fizzy) pic.twitter.com/Zuz78mFL9u

This Black Cat Cocktail looks rather Meepy. If you don’t mind ignoring authenticity a bit, you could serve it in a martini glass with an avocado peel garnish and call it a Meeptini.
If only you had some bathtub gin…🤔 pic.twitter.com/el4puDS1gS— CheSchu (@che_schu) March 6, 2022
when I think of Meep & suitcases I think opposite of tropical (we’re not traveling) but also think carbonation (the human version of meeping) – thus: 2 oz floral gin, 1/2 oz Chambord, 1/2 oz luxardo, 1/2 oz lemon juice, finish with prosecco. Just made this up sorry if it’s bad!

FELINA – A cocktail named for a kittenish seductress. A jigger of tequila, a splash of Grand Marnier, two drops of agave nectar, fresh orange juice, and a squeeze of lime… over ice.

Not unique drinks, just regular cocktails named after kitty. Meep on the beach, Meephattan, Meep Island Iced Tea, Meeparita, Meepacolada. OK, I will stop now. 🤣 Have a great party! 😊

How ‘bout a Cat-a-tonic? (Gin and tonic with a sprig of catnip)
— Horst ❤️ 🇺🇦 (@Horst_in_CA) March 6, 2022
The Meeptale: A splash of milk, a splash of #CocaCola, two drops of orange juice. Gently stir as if you are pawing the bathtub water, serve in a box shaped cocktail glass. Enjoy. Optional: garnish with catnip.
