WWE wrestler Scott Hall passed away early this week.
Earlier this month, the wrestler, who was known as Razor Ramon, was hospitalized after he sustained a fall and broke his hip. While he was undergoing hip replacement surgery, a blood clot dislodged which resulted in him having three heart attacks during his surgery on Friday, March 12.
Hall was put on life support at the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia. On March 14, his family made the difficult decision to remove him from life support, and Hall passed away later that day.
Many wrestlers paid tribute to the late Hall, who had a history of heart conditions and had both a defibrillator and a pacemaker installed in his chest.

On Tuesday, actor Dwayne Johnson posted a video of his old wrestling days when he performed as The Rock. In this video, he actually competed against Hall, who he called an “extraordinarily talented and intense athlete.”
“Pro wrestling just lost a legend in Scott Hall,” Johnson wrote. “Scott came from an era of pro wrestling where wrestlers were the biggest and toughest men on the planet. Scott was a big man who was athletically gifted. Tough as h---. And inside that ring he was an extraordinarily talented and intense athlete.”
“Before my match here with Scott, I made sure to tell him how much his in ring work influenced me,” he continued. “When I was a rookie in wrestling, I would study Scott’s matches. His style, intensity, crispness and his excellent in ring IQ and psychology 🧠I studied his matches, frame by frame.”
“He was shocked to hear this from me,” he wrote. “We came up in different eras. He knew I was a student of the game, but had no idea he was one of the ones I studied. He thought that was so cool and we went out there that night and lit it the f--- up inside that ring 🔥It was my honor, brother.”
“And ‘thank you for the house’ 🙏🏾” he concluded. “Go rest high.”
