Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock spoke very highly of her co-star Brad Pitt. The duo recently worked together on two movies, "Bullet Train" and "The Lost City." "The Lost City" is slated to hit the cinemas on March 25, while "Bullet Train" will be released in July this year.

According to Bullock, the idea to star in "The Lost City" came from her hairstylist in "Bullet Train." The stylist apparently told her and Pitt to star in the romance movie, and it became a done deal. Another A-list actor in the project is Channing Tatum, who starred as Alan, the male lead.

During the Q&A, the "Ocean's Eight" actress was asked about Pitt's involvement and contribution to the movie. She joked, "Not much. Not really much. I mean, what does he bring to any film he does?" The actress then shared an incident on set, which highlighted the actor's professionalism and generosity.

The 57-year-old said, "The thing about Brad is he was supposed to be there for three days. He'd just finished shooting. He was dead tired. He bulked up for the role to do a three-day role. I had to ask him for a fourth day for free. He did it."

Bullock continued, praising the "Money Ball" actor's work ethic even during challenging conditions. She added, "You just realize he's a movie star and a great actor for a reason: Because he works really, really hard. He brought a work ethic that was pretty astounding."

The actress revealed that the filming conditions at that point were more challenging than usual because they were deep in the jungle and had monsoon rains. "We had monsoon rains. It was hot. Besides her role as the main character, Loretta Sage, Bullock also had the role of a producer in "The Lost City." Via USA Today, the movie's director Adam Nee claimed that the actress was to thank for getting all his A-list actors on board with little fuss. In addition to roping Pitt in, the 57-year-old also ensnared Tatum as the male lead, Alan. Nee said, "She was attached to the project at the beginning."

"So when you have Sandra on as an actor and a producer, and you say, 'We'd like Channing Tatum for this part,' she goes, 'I like Channing Tatum,' and then you call Channing Tatum, and he answers the phone," he continued. "And you go, 'What about Brad Pitt?' She's like, 'I'm doing a movie with Brad Pitt. Let me ask him.' It really changes things when you have someone like Sandy on your team."

'The Lost City' Will Be Released On March 25

This romance drama was reportedly Seth Gordon's idea but really came to life under siblings Adam and Aaron Nee. It follows the life of a romance novelist named Loretta (Bullock) and how she got caught up in a story as wild and adventurous as the ones she created for her readers.

After losing her husband, Bullock's character becomes uninspired and totally uninterested in writing. Loretta is soon kidnapped by a wealthy man named Abigal Fairfax (Daniel Radcliffe), who is searching for a long-lost diamond headdress called the Crown of Fire which she mentioned in one of her books.

The billionaire then flies her to a remote tropical island to locate the artifact then cue Alan. Alan is the hunky main character in all Loretta's books and happens to be in love with the author. Enlisting the aid of Jack Trainer, played by Pitt, the novel character goes traipsing around the island in search of Loretta. "The Lost City" will be released on March 25.
