On Thursday, March 10, "The Real Housewives of Orange County" alum posted a selfie of herself in tears after picking up her son Hart from school.

The TV personality was makeup-free, sporting a casual look with a pink headband while the toddler ate snacks in his secured car seat.

The entertainer, who shares Hart, his twin brother Hayes, and daughter Aspen with ex-husband Jim Edmonds, explained how her son's cerebral palsy condition affected the whole family.

The mother-of-three wrote, "I don't like being defined as a mother of a child with cerebral palsy. In fact, I actively work against it."

The Bravo alum admitted that she preferred to focus on how well Hart was doing rather than share the challenges he faced. But it was hard giving herself and her other children the same courtesy.

The 37-year-old confessed that the family's needs couldn't be separated from her son's health problems as they were connected. Her caption read:

"Although CP is defined as a motor disability, its symptoms rear their heads in a plethora of other ways. Today is the second day in a row that Hart has had to leave school for poor behavior."

The reality TV star continued, "This not only renders me unable to work during that short school window, but it leaves me feeling frustrated and helpless for both of us."

Despite the difficulties she endured, nothing scared the doting mother more than the "unknown" and doubts that plagued her mind. The Missouri native wrote:

"Is his environment too inconsistent? Is he not getting enough attention? How do I balance his needs with the other needs in the household? Is there such a thing as balance? Is there a solution?"

The "Say Yes to the Dress" star was also worried that happiness may not be achievable and her loved ones, especially Hart, would be stuck in a "lifetime of rollercoaster behaviors, merry-go-round therapies, and erratic emotions."

"The unknown is daunting. How do I keep him integrated in normal schooling when he acts violently or disruptive? How? Thank you for attending my depressing TED talk," King concluded her post.

The 'Resale Royalty' Alum Was Surprisingly 'Relieved' About Her Son's Diagnosis

At the time, the "RHOC" star confessed that she felt "relieved" after discovering Hart's condition because she knew it would happen since the day she "googled the right thing." The blogger wrote:

"I knew it was CP since Hart was a few months old. I just knew. Hart's new diagnosis really means nothing different and changes nothing. It just allows him to continue receiving the therapy he's already getting."

The reality TV star also declared that her son would live a "full and independent life" regardless of the challenges he might face.

The doting mother also hoped that Hart wouldn't hide his condition but "wear it as a badge of honor" and inspire others with his accomplishments.

The entertainer's top priority has always been her children, as The Blast shared that the 37-year-old's New Year's resolution revolved around her children.

Taking to Instagram, the "Access Hollywood Live" star shared a beautiful picture of her kids playing at the beach and declared she would spend 2022 being a great mom.

This touching post came not long after the reality TV star ended her brief marriage to President Joe Biden's nephew, Cuffe Owens.
