Calling all Swifties!
Whether you're a member of Taylor Swift's devoted "Swiftie" fan base, or just a casual listener, it's always more fun to scream along to your favorite chorus or belt out one of Swift's many memorable bridges with a crowd of your newest and equally devoted Swiftie besties.
After a prolonged period of time with little opportunity for Swifties to congregate and celebrate the "All Too Well" singer, the time has arrived!
This morning, the creators of Taylor Fest reminded fans the festival is in full swing when they tweeted a reminder for their upcoming Brooklyn event.

If you feel lost in translation after reading all of the previous information, not to worry!
Taylor Fest is a "Traveling party for Swifties BY Swifties," according to their linktree.
Taylor Fest isn't the newest festival on the block. Taylor Fest has been bringing the party to fans for awhile, having held a number of events across the United States last year.
After a number of rescheduled dates back in January, dates for Taylor Fest resumed as originally scheduled in February, and now the festival will return with a number of dates for Spring!
The next date will be in Brooklyn, New York, on March 11th. The second night of two shows in Portland, Oregon, on March 18th and 19th, is sold out.
The string of posted Spring dates will conclude on May 21st in Chicago.
What Happened To Taylor's Lover Fest?

In case you missed it, Taylor Fest is a completely different festival from the official Swift affiliated Lover Fest.
Lover Fest was set to be Swift's triumphant return to performing shows on stage since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the often detrimental effects the pandemic has had on touring musicians and countless tour and festival cancellations around the world.
Lover Fest was originally set to begin in the Summer of 2020 likely to coincide with the release of Swift's critically acclaimed album "Folklore" in July. Swift went on to release "Evermore," a few months later.
In Feburary 2021, a few months following "Evermore's" release, Swift hopped on her Twitter to announce Lover Fest would be cancelled.
According to Swift's statement, she said "I love coming on here to tell you good news, or to share a new project with you, It's not my favorite thing in the world to have to tell you news I'm sad about. I'm so sorry, but I cannot reschedule the shows we have postponed..."

While Taylor Fest may never fully help heal the hole left by Lover Fest in the hearts of Swifties everywhere, the festival seems to have definitely come close!
Taylor Fest's social media accounts have shared plenty of really fun photos featuring attendees having the time of their lives from posing in front of backdrops that would surely be approved by Swift, herself, to experiencing magical milestones in their lives; Marriage proposals have even happened at Taylor Fest!
Taylor Fest is also dedicated to keeping up-to-date and following the latest COVID-19 related protocols. They have posted all of the information when applicable on social media.
Dates for April will include Kansas City, Seattle, and Minnesota!
