In 2015, the "Real Housewives Of Orange County" star, Heather Dubrow, disclosed in her podcast how she met her husband, Terry Dubrow and how they have waded a lot of things.

When Heather turned 27 years old, she asked her friend's boyfriend, a surgeon at the time, if he knew any Jewish doctors he could introduce her to. Surprisingly, he replied affirmatively, and Heather found herself on a blind date with Terry. According to her, it wasn't love at first sight.

"He wasn't really my type, but you know, I was like, 'We'll see,'" she recalled. "Dark hair, didn't dress well, needed help as most men do," she added.

However, it was Terry's mode of transportation that turned her off. "He drove a Porsche. Where I come from in New York, people didn't have flashy cars."

They later talked on the phone, and she reported feeling utterly different with him. "On the phone, I was, like, in love," Heather mentioned. "But then we'd hang out, and I'd go, 'Yeah, I don't know.'"

A turning point in their relationship was when the pair had a phone call after a memorable kiss.

"He goes, 'You know what kissing you is like?' And I said, 'What?' 'You know how you're a kid, and you wake up on Saturday morning, and you realize you don't have to go to school, and you turn over, and you find that amazing place in the pillow again? That's what it's like to kiss you,'" Heather recounted.

Heather also visited Terry in his workplace. This helped her see him in a completely new light. "To me the sexiest thing in the whole world is seeing someone in their element, you know, seeing him in like scrubs and there's, like, needles flying, and he's walking around, and he's in command of the place," Heather said. "It was a turn-on. It was sexy as hell."

The Couple Still Experience Minor Conflicts

Years after and four kids later, the Dubrows relationship has been a dream come true. However, it hasn't been all rosy for the couple.

"We had one terrible, bad year where the show was affecting us," Heather opened up to Page Six. "I think it may have been the first year Terry was on 'Botched,' and so we weren't together a lot because I was doing 'Housewives.' I was having a bad season. He was on 'Botched,' he was having a good season," she continued. "And we weren't communicating. There was just a lot going on, and we had to have a real come-to-Jesus moment and sit down." In the end, the couple resolved to stick it out and vowed to not "get a divorce over being on TV." According to Heather, they both agreed, "That's not an acceptable thing to happen."

According to Terry, the solution to confronting marital issues was to be resourceful.

"In our 25-year relationship, we have been through every struggle. Intimacy struggles when I felt bad about myself, financial struggles, we've had lost several millions of dollars. We've had other kinds of things with our family," he confessed. "All the big-ticket items, we have learned how to get through them. We have very significant resources at this point in our relationship."

In an interview with Fox News, the couple explained the inspiration behind their show, "7 Year Stitch."

"It kind of all started a few years ago. So we had this couple, they lost weight on our book on our diet, and we got to know them, and we got in involved, and their child and their dynamic."
