An Airbnb host had landed in legal hot waters for spying on guests!
A Texas man named Jay Allee has allegedly been watching and taping his guests under the pretense of serving as a diligent Airbnb host.
As reported by INSIDER, the homeowner would be facing a trial after his guests discovered a hidden camera in their bedroom.
Texas Airbnb Host Charged For Recording Over 2,000 Videos Of His Guests
Airbnb is a popular online platform for lodging, especially homestay facilities, where people rent out their properties to those seeking accommodations in specific areas.
Although the company offered affordability and comfort, it could not wholly guarantee that its hosts would give their guests the respectable treatment they deserved.
Such is the case of Allee, the Texas Airbnb host who was accused of being a peeping tom and arrested for having over 2,000 videos of his guests.
According to the news outlet, these clips were captured by a hidden camera in the unsuspecting parties' bedrooms, showing them in intimate moments.
The questionable events were brought to light in December 2021, after a couple staying at Allee's guest house became wary of their host's weird behavior.
The pair stated that the Texas native used dubious remarks such as "be comfortable" and "we don't care if you are in your pj's or nude" during their conversations.
The Kendall County Authorities launched an investigation into the matter following a report from the guests about a filming device disguised as a power adapter in their secluded cabin's bedroom.

The Airbnb home, described as a "quaint, quiet, and safe hill country vacation spot," became a crime scene when the cops uncovered a sinister plot.
The spy device was connected to laptops, phones, and a tablet, where numerous images and videos of guests dating back to at least one year were saved.
Allee, the alleged perpetrator, has been slammed with "15 counts of invasive visual recording" charges in response to this disturbing evidence.
That wasn't all; 17 of the Airbnb host's potential victims took civil actions through their attorney Bianca Zuniga-Goldwater. Regarding the matter, the lawyers described the situation as a "real-life scary movie."
However, Allee wasn't undermined by these accusations as the cabin owner claimed he was innocent. Nico LaHood, a member of the defendant's team, also shared the same sentiments.
According to the attorney, his client wasn't guilty of the charges against him, and the 54-year-old was "looking forward to his day in court."
As for the Airbnb platform, the company swiftly cut its ties to the host following the news. The organization expressed their disappointment in a statement to the press that read:
"On our platform, we strictly ban hidden cameras. The reported criminal behavior of this bed-and-breakfast owner is outrageous, and he and his property are banned from Airbnb."
The company added that their "law enforcement operations team" has supported the Kendall County Sheriff's Office in their investigation.
Model Suzy Cortez Was Kicked Out Of An Airbnb For Being Too Sexy
Earlier this month, The Blast shared that Suzy Cortez, a Playboy model popularly known as Brazil's Miss Bum Bum, was supposedly kicked out of an Airbnb.
This incident occurred while the social media influencer visited her parents in São Paulo, but a male Airbnb host ruined her family time.
Recalling the emotional event, Cortez claimed that the man in question didn't let her stay up to 48 hours before throwing her out and dumping her luggage in the trash.
According to the model, she paid the house's $1000 rent in January; however, that didn't stop the owner from forcing her to leave.
Why? Because the Airbnb host thought the Brazilian was too hot. Regarding this unbelievable treatment, the social media influencer said:
"This is the biggest prejudice and nightmare I’ve ever lived. I am extremely embarrassed and psychologically shaken. A trip to see my parents turned into a horror movie."
The Playboy star believed this unfortunate event was caused by 'Hot Girl Phobia,' a phenomenon when men feared approaching and communicating with sexy women.
However, this wasn't the first time the Brazilian beauty made headlines for her attractiveness, as she previously claimed that she earned more than other models on OnlyFans.
