Nicki Minaj's Son Had A Funny Encounter With The Driver
Over the weekend, the "Barbie Tingz" rapper took to Twitter to tell her followers a funny encounter Papa Bear had with their driver on their way home. The doting mother wrote:
Last night out of nowhere when we were heading home, Papa Bear slowly turned around in his car seat, reached over the driver seat and very softly poked the driver in his head with his finger.
Nicki then revealed that to her surprise Papa Bear immediately turned back around after performing the naughty act and sat back like it never happened. Shocked by his response, Nicki noted, "My face said 🤯."
After a fan asked about the driver's reaction to the cute antics, Nicki continued the story, writing, "I started screaming PAPA NO!!!! His dad was like POP!!! The driver just smiled."
" The Other Woman" star recalled that when she and her husband Kenneth Petty arrived home, they couldn't help but laugh at the shocking moment they encountered in the car.
As for what prompted the 1-year-old to poke the driver, Nicki explained, "Zoo said it's cuz the man looked like the man in Despicable Me & a kid did that in the movie 🥴."
The rapper's story garnered attention with over 50,000 likes and several retweets. The tweet even got the attention of the official page of the movie "Minions."
In response to Nicki's story, they shared a comical gif of the Felonious Gru smashing a glass of drink. Fans have since urged Nicki to share a driver's photo to prove that he indeed looked like Gru.
Motherhood Changed The "High School" Rapper
Last month, during an appearance on "The Late Late Show with James Corden," Nicki gushed about the joys of motherhood and how it changed her.
The 39-year-old added mother to her titles in September 2020 when she welcomed Papa Bear with Petty. The rapper kept details of her pregnancy and her son's birth private for the first few months after his arrival.
However, in January 2021, to mark the New Year, Nicki blessed fans with the first photo of her mini-me, writing, "Thank you so very much for choosing me to be your mama… becoming a mom is by far the most fulfilling job I've ever taken on."
Since first introducing him to the world, Nicki hasn't stopped gushing about what a blessing Papa Bear is to her life.
While chatting with host James Corden, Nicki explained that becoming a mother has changed her perspective about life.
"I think motherhood has made me see more good in people, more good in the universe. It makes you more of a forgiving person," the rapper gushed.
She continued, revealing that she always feels "so blessed" when she looks at her son. Nicki got candid about how having a child didn't come easy for everyone, so she forever remains grateful "for this little gift."
