Fans Express Concern For Kim Kardashian Post Kanye West Divorce: He ‘Will Not Let It Be Over’

Fans are worried about Kim Kardashian.

Even though she divorced her ex-husband Kanye West earlier this week, Kanye turned around and seemed to threaten her current boyfriend, "Saturday Night Live" star Pete Davidson.

After their divorce, Kanye uploaded the video for his song “Eazy” on Instagram. The lyrics include “God saved me from that crash/ Just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s a–.”

In the video, a clay version of Kanye can be seen putting a bag over a character’s head who looks like Pete Davidson. He then ties up the character and drives him out to an abandoned area where he buries him up to his neck. He later holds up his decapitated head.

The video has many fans concerned for Kim, who is still locked in a custody battle despite being legally single.

On Twitter, Charlotte Kneer wrote, “Kim gets declared legally single to help him understand the relationship is over. He releases a video threatening her new partner. Watch this and understand why you cannot just leave an abuser no matter how much money you have. They will not let it be over.”

A screenshot of the tweet was shared to Feminist News, where it got thousands of reactions and hundreds of comments from women who shared their own domestic violence stories.

“My husband’s coworker was murdered at her desk by her estranged husband,” one user shared. “She did everything right…but a ‘well-meaning’ relative betrayed a confidence because ‘he was always so nice to us’ and felt he deserved a second chance. She got away from him, but lost her life because someone valued the ‘sanctity of marriage’ over her cousin’s life.”

“[Kim] has a great opportunity here for domestic violence advocacy,” another wrote. “I hope it isn't a missed opportunity! With her pull she could really make a difference.”

“Of all the women who face this reality, Kim K. is the best positioned because she has the money and visibility to stop/shame him,” another shared. “I mean, it's good to see that even the wealthy face the same problems, but it really isn't the same as a poor woman with a bunch of kids trying to leave her abuser with no money or help.”

“Meanwhile, as he's threatening her new partner and acting as if he will get her back, he's dating other women himself. So he's allowed to have new partners but she isn't,” another pointed out.

Another user tweeted, “saw someone talk about how if Kim K, with all the money and resources in the world, can’t safely and simply divorce her husband without being harassed and stalked, then it’s about time we stop asking women in domestic violence situations the question ‘why doesn’t she just leave?’”

The screengrab got over 36,000 reactions, almost a thousand comments, and over 38,000 shares.

“If Kim K becomes an advocate for domestic violence she could literally change the face of the whole thing with her massive influence,” one user wrote.

Another said, “Y’all after all this madness, I hope Kim takes her career of being a lawyer in the future to the NEXT LEVEL & will fight for domestic violence victims!”

“It's putting a lot of burden on the people struggling as victims themselves. There are plenty of others that can help too. She's literally trying to survive her own journey at the moment,” another user pointed out.

“This,” another wrote. They think stalking, harassing & humiliation is ‘trying to get her back’ …. What? By manipulative force? Literally make it make sense.  They need to learn to Love themselves & take rejection w/ maturity, instead of trying to force someone to be w/ you, it’s gross & incel behavior. Their ego can’t stand rejection & project that onto the partner that leaves, instead of reflecting on why they feel the need to act out or seek ‘vengeance’ for them wanting to seek out a healthier relationship that they clearly couldn’t offer. The only thing they refuse to see is how their contributing behavior is problematic, so they shift it to the partner that leaves. It’s always been about their fragile egos.”

In previous text messages that Kanye uploaded to Instagram prior to the divorce, he shared one from his ex-wife asking him to stop belittling Pete on Instagram. In the message, Kim says, "There are dangerous people out there and this is scary and it doesn't have to be"

Kanye replied, "I will always do everything to protect you and our family forever And I listened to you and told everyone to make sure nothing physical happens to Skete."

However, after the latest music video, one friend of the “SNL” comedian told Page Six that “This is, for real, really scary.”
