“Euphoria” is all anyone can talk about these days and for good reason.

Levinson created, wrote, directs and executive produces “Euphoria.”

Last month, “Euphoria” was the most tweeted tv show of the decade.

In fact, it’s the second-most-watched show right behind “Game of Thrones.”

While everyone was raving about the show on social media, there were others hating everything about the show.

Multiple sources told The Daily Beast that some aspects of Season 2’s production were hellish.

Some described the work environment as toxic.

There were claims that workdays would last 18 hours, and several complaints were made to SAG-AFTRA.

According to a 2019 report from Backstage.com, the Screen Actors Guild's (SAG) national board of directors, finding that excessively long workdays present "a very real danger to the health and safety of our members," has voted unanimously to work with the industry's other labor unions to establish a maximum 12-hour workday throughout the film and TV industry.

This SAG vote adds momentum to a growing movement in Hollywood to limit the length of workdays, which can sometimes run as long as 20 hours.

Sources alleged that a union representative was sent to the set to ensure that union guidelines were being followed.

Multiple set workers said they wouldn’t return to another season of “Euphoria” unless major changes were implemented.

“Creatively, it must be a dream, but logistically? Come on,” one source said while referencing Levinson’s habit of coming to set with no shot list.

He preferred shooting scenes “off the cuff.”

“It felt very privileged on that set,” the source continued.

HBO responded to the disparaging remarks in a statement.

HBO said, “The well-being of cast and crew on our productions is always a top priority. The production was in full compliance with all safety guidelines and guild protocols. It’s not uncommon for drama series to have complex shoots, and COVID protocols add an additional layer. We maintain an open line of communication with all the guilds, including SAG-AFTRA. There were never any formal inquiries raised.”

In a separate report from The Daily Beast,Barbie Ferreira, who plays Kat Hernandez, has also butted heads with Levinson.

In turn, he reportedly cut her screen time in season two.

Ferreira reportedly stormed off set given her character’s plot line was left in the dust.

In season one, Ferreira’s character took control of her body and her narrative. She was a symbol of body positivity with past times including being a cam girl and an erotic fanfic Tumblr journalist.

Fans of the show have seen her character calm down and become more of a supporting role to Maddy Perez (Alexa Demie).

Other beloved shows like “The Ellen Show” and “Dr. Phil” have also come under fire for allowing a toxic work environment.
