Sophie Turner & Husband Joe Jonas Are Getting Ready To Welcome Baby #2!

Actress Sophie Turner is getting ready to welcome baby number two!

The "Game of Thrones" actress has been married to singer Joe Jonas since 2019. The fan-favorite couple welcomed their first daughter together, a baby girl named Willa, in 2020.

InTouch Weekly broke the news that Sophie, 25, is "proud of her bump." However, they added that the "Dark Phoenix" actress is a "private person and won't make an official announcement about the pregnancy until she's ready."

Although it is not clear exactly how far along she is, the source added that "she is almost halfway through." The source added that Sophie and Joe, 32, are "absolutely ecstatic and can't wait for Willia to have a sibling."

Now that it's confirmed that Sophie is expecting, fans can't help but speculate about what their second child's name will be!

According to another insider, "picking a name, which they aren’t sharing with anyone until the baby arrives, is what they’re really excited about."

It could be that the couple is waiting until the child arrives to decide on a name. Either way, Sophie and Joe love being parents! A source told Life & Style that the young couple was "adapting well to being first-time parents" although they weren't getting much sleep! A source revealed, "They haven’t been getting much sleep but know it’s all part of the process."

After welcoming their first baby, a source revealed that the new parents were "totally obsessed with their new bundle of joy" and they "can't stop doting" on their baby girl.

The source added that Joe treated Sophie like a "princess" while she was pregnant and has been a very "hands-on" dad so far. The source added that Joe has been "doing everything he can to help out. When Sophie wants to rest up, he'll look after the baby."

Just months after Willa was born, the happy family was already planning for a second child! A source told Us Weekly that "Joe and Sophie are already trying to have another baby. They are really excited to expand their family. Having the baby has made them really close and they want to have a large family together."

The source also revealed that Willa, the name of their first daughter, isn't a family name and isn't short for anything. They decided on the name "awhile" before Sophie gave birth to her new bundle of joy.

At the time, brother Nick Jonas also told Entertainment Tonight that he had met baby Willa during the COVID-19 pandemic. "It's, you know, Joe and Sophie's thing to speak about or not," Jonas, 29, told the outlet.

He added that he wished that the family could be "all together" during the pandemic, saying, "That's so many families' wish and dream at the moment. I'm grateful everyone's healthy and happy. We've all been very fortunate, but looking forward to a time when life gets back to hopefully some kind of version of normal and we can spend more time together."

It's unknown at this time if the couple decided to hold off on having their second child due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The couple is extremely private about their personal life. Sophie only posted throwback snaps of her pregnant belly on Instagram after she had already given birth.

Another source told Life & Style at the time that the couple was trying to get out and about during the pandemic for exercise, although they admitted that "it's not exactly easy being pregnant during a pandemic."

"It’s not exactly easy being pregnant during a pandemic, but they try to get out of the house at least once a day to get some fresh air or go for a walk — obviously they take precautions and wear a mask," the source explained.

The source added that Joe "always treated Sophie like a princess, but more so now than ever before." In addition to "romantic trips away" and "pampering sessions," he also took care of grocery shopping and running errands so that Sophie could rest up at home.
