Shortly after his first post, the “Jungle Cruise” actor followed it up with a video outside the orangutan cage.
“One of the many joys I get going to the zoo - when the ladies of my family, always want to sing to the animals and wait for their response,” Johnson joked.
“Some animals actually react with real vocals communicating back which is always cool to see!” he continued. “And then some animals, like our orangutan 🦧 here is like… If you don’t get you’re a--es outta my zoo with that Destiny’s Child s---..😂😂”
In the video, the orangutan looks to be sulking in the back of its cage and trying to pay no attention to the zoo visitors.
“* btw, they low key sound amazing with their harmonies and flow - they’ll be going on tour this summer, as THE ROCK JOHNSONS 😂 👀👏🏾” he joked. He capped off his post with #hololuluzoo and #shehatesit.
“Young Rock” actor Bradly Constant commented, “It just sounded too good, the orangutan was shocked at the beautiful sounds 🤷🏽♂️😂”
However, Johnson revealed that there might have been a more somber reason that he was visiting Hawaii.
