Jon Bon Jovi is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and actor. He is best known as the founder and frontman of the rock band Bon Jovi, which he was founded in 1983. He has released 15 studio albums with his band, as well as two solo albums on his own.

In addition to his music, Bon Jovi started an acting career in the 1990s. He starred in the films “Moonlight and Valentino and U-571.” He has also appeared in numerous television shows, including “Sex and the City,” “The West Wing,” and “Ally McBeal.”

In 1996, PEOPLE magazine named him one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world. In 2000, PEOPLE awarded him the title of “Sexiest Rock Star.” In 2009, Bon Jovi was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. In 2012, he was ranked number fifty on the list of Billboard’s “Power 100,” which ranked “the most powerful and influential people in the music business.”

In 2006, he founded The Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, which was formerly known as the Philadelphia Soul Charitable Foundation. The foundation supports community efforts to end poverty and homelessness.
