Brie Larson gained popularity with her first appearance as Captain Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film of the same name and hasn’t backed down since then.

She played Carol Danvers in the 2019 action/adventure film and made appearances in other Marvel movies, including “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: Endgame.” Larson also has a lead role in the upcoming prequel to her first MCU film, “The Marvels.”

Larson Shared A Workout Video

Though fans anticipate the return of their favorite marvel hero, no details for “The Marvels” have currently been revealed to the public. However, as usual, the film should see the team come together to work and attempt to create magic, as fans believe other Nia DaCosta-directed films have.

As was the case for several other MCU films, the release date was pushed back several times, but this didn’t prevent the cast and crew from putting in the work. The production then went on for most of 2021.

Though the film has been concluded, many fans believe that Larson has continued to train if she has to return for reshoots of some parts of the movie. Taking it to her official Instagram account, the Academy Award-winning actress shared a video of herself working out and keeping fit.

Larson Trains In Case Of Reshoots

Over time, reshoots have acquired a bad name, primarily due to the disappointing outcome of several blockbusters that underwent last-minute additional work. However, some viewers believe they are usually part of the movie project’s schedule, especially for larger-budget movies.

Critics have also mentioned that it offers the studio and directors breathing room to change or make last-minute corrections to what was shot during principal photography. For this reason, several fans considered Larson wise for continuing her training regimen as she could be needed back on set for reshoots anytime soon.

While it’s possible that “The Marvels” will have several reshoots for the film, continued training is also in line with Larson’s recent update regarding the film. While she couldn’t go into details, she mentioned that Captain Marvel will be “more powerful” this time than her last MCU appearance in “Endgame.”

It’s currently uncertain how this relates to her dynamic with Monica (played by Teyonah Parris) and Kamala (played by Iman Vellani). Still, it’ll be exciting to see how Marvel Studios will utilize the character moving forward without using her as a “Deux Machina.”
