The 2022 César Award winners were finally announced on Friday night.

The star-studded ceremony took place on Friday, February 25. “Lost Illusions,” directed by Xavier Giannoli, had been leading in nominations with 15 nominations. The musical “Annette,” directed by Leos Carax and starring “Star Wars” alum Adam Driver came in second with eleven nominations. The musical drama-comedy that was inspired by the real-life of singer Céline Dion, “Aline,” came in third with ten nominations.

It was previously announced that “Don’t Look Up” and “Mrs. America” actress Cate Blanchett will receive an honorary César Award.
