Kanye West's "Donda 2" is finally here. The anticipated album is a follow-up to his previous album "Donda," which he released in August. He marked the new album release with a performance experience in Miami.
The rapper previously announced that his album wouldn't be available on the regular streaming sites and instead urged his fans to visit his platform called Stem Player. He also talked about the different features the streaming platform had.
The performance experience revealed that the rapper sampled the voice of his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. Her voice was heard at the start of one of his tracks, and the audio was from an episode of "Saturday Night Live" the reality star appeared. Besides Kardashian, West also notable sampled the voice of Vice President Kamala Harris from her viral video when she got elected.
West Sampled Kardashian's Voice On 'Donda 2'
West certainly caused quite a stir with Miami's "Donda 2" performance experience. The event celebrated his follow-up album for "Donda" on February 22. It took place at the Loandepot Park with appearances from artists like Migos, Da Baby, The Game, Jack Harlow, and several other featured artists.
While West had some samples on "Donda 2," the most shocking one was by his ex-wife Kardashian. The reality star's voice was heard at the beginning of his track, "Sci-Fi." The song opened with Kardashian saying, "I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that— he is the richest Black man in America."

The business mogul also mentioned their children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. She said, "A talented, legit genius who gave me four incredible kids." West notably left out the rest of the monologue, which was a dig at him. Kardashian added, "When I divorced him, you have to know it came down to just one thing: his personality."
For viewers of "Saturday Night Live," the monologue isn't unfamiliar. Kardashian hosted an episode of the show in October 2021 and said those words. The couple was newly divorced and reportedly "in a good place."
West Sampled Kamala Harris's Audio On His New Album
West seems to like other people's voices as much as he loves his. Besides Kardashian's voice from her SNL appearance, West sampled the audio from Vice President Kamala Harris's viral video. He included the part where she said "We did it, Joe" on the album.

The vice president posted the video on November 7, 2020, after winning the elections. In the video, she's seen talking to her running mate President Joe Biden on the phone to congratulate him concerning their electoral win.
Harris's voice was heard during the much-delayed live performance on Tuesday. The audio was attached to a track on the album called "Louis Bags," where the rapper featured Jack Harlow. Although it isn't exactly clear why West sampled the video, most people are leaning towards the negative. The rapper previously criticized Harris in the past.
West Didn't Release 'Donda 2' On Popular Streaming Platforms
A few days ago, West announced that he wouldn't release his "Donda 2" album on any of the popular streaming sites like Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, and the rest. The rapper instead directed his fans to his newest platform called Stem Player.

He posted a song snippet from the album on Instagram and captioned it, "'Donda 2' will only be available on my own platform, the Stem Player. Not on Apple, Amazon, Spotify or YouTube. Today artists get just 12% of the money the industry makes. It's time to free music from this oppressive system. It's time to take control and build our own. Go to stemplayer.com now to order."
In a separate post, West talked about some of the features of the streaming platform. "You can download new music from stemplayer.com. You can play 4 different elements of the track: vocals, drums, bass and music. It also has a MP3 player available," he said.
West Hounded Kardashian And Pete Davidson After The Divorce
Kardashian appeared on the popular "SNL" show eight months after separating from West. Since the split, the rapper hasn't made things particularly easy for the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" alum.
She previously filed for being legally single but West retaliated by objecting to the request. He also went on several social media rampages dragging Kardashian's parenting style and relationship with "SNL" star Pete Davidson. The rapper even released a song threatening to "beat Pete Davidson's ass" not long ago.
West's antics wrought out a rare statement from Kardashian, claiming that he was "obsessed" with "attacking" her. Earlier this month, the "Gold Digger" artist apologized publicly for his actions and said he would take "accountability" for everything he did.
However, West made another dig at the "SNL" star during the performance experience by performing "Eazy," where he threatened to beat up Davidson. Another thing of note was his music choice with Keys. The artists performed "City of Gods," which had a line that read, "New York City / Please go easy / On me tonight / 'Cause I'm losing / My lover / To the arms of / Another."
