Jeff Wittek Is Done Being 'Fake Friends' With David Dobrik

David Dobrik’s “Vlog Squad” is one person less.

The YouTube-famous group known for performing outlandish stunts and pranks on one another has lost one of its OG members.

Jeff Wittek is no longer putting up with Dobrik’s BS and destructive ways.

You may recall, in 2020 Wittek nearly lost his life at the hands of Dobrik and a crane.

The “Vlog Squad” took a crane out into a lake that had shallow patches of rock. Dobrik had his

“friends” individually tied to the crane and would swing them around like rag-dolls.

Dobrik decided it would be cool to speed up the crane while Wittek was attached and nearly killed him.

Wittek was swung around so fast that he collided with the crane nearly losing his left eye.

He had to undergo nine surgeries to get his eye back to some sort of normalcy.

It’s been nearly a year and a half since the accident, and Wittek is realizing Dobrik is not a good friend.

In an Instagram Live recorded and reposted by social media account @DefNoodles, Wittek was asked if he had heard from Dobrik after a recent surgical procedure done to his left eye.

He responded, “Nope. Nope. Not a text or nothing. Not surprised, you know. It is what it is… I’m done being fake friends with that motherf**ker.”

Wittek’s live stream comes just a few days after he unfollowed Dobrik on social media.

2020 and 2021 were doozy years for Dobrik.

He faced a lot of backlash from fans over a 2018 YouTube video which featured ex-“Vlog Squad” member, Durte Dom, taking a female into a bedroom with the intention of having sex.

The woman, known as Hannah, accused Dom of raping her because she was too incapacitated to give consent.

Dobrik lost multiple brand deals and became a disgraced YouTuber.

Last November, he was compared to being like Chris Brown for hitting his assistant Natalie Mariduena.

On Friday, November 12, Dobrik uploaded a video of him and his assistant/longtime friend to his TikTok account.

Dobrik and Natalie were trying to toss markers into a glass from a distance.

The YouTuber was the first to toss a pink marker into the water glass and says, “If I make this you have to work free for a week.”

He missed.

Natalie was next and said, “If I make this, David can’t see the new Spider Man movie when it comes out.”

Before the marker leaves her hand, Dobrik comes up from behind and slaps the marker into Natalie’s face.

She falls back screaming, “Ow,” while he knelt over her, laughing hysterically.

“It’s not that serious you f***ing psycho,” she said to Dobrik.

The video then cut to a close-up of Natalie’s face. She got a big bloody gash on her forehead right by her eyebrow.

Dobrik apologized while still hysterically laughing while Natalie asks, “What did you doooo?”

He tries to explain that he was trying to hit the marker out of her hand, but it’s pretty clear from the video he wasn’t going to stop with the follow-through once he hit the marker.
