'San Andreas' star Alexandra Daddario is asking a judge for protection against a man who showed up uninvited at her Los Angeles home with a loaded gun.
According to new legal documents, obtained by The Blast, the actress filed a restraining order in L.A. County Courts asking for the man -- who we've chosen not to name -- to be ordered away from her home and family.
In most cases like this, a judge will sign off on a temporary restraining order, and ask the parties to come to court at a later date to argue the case.
Alexandra Daddario Asking For Legal Protection Against Alleged Stalker
Over the weekend, it was reported that the same individual showed up at the actress's home and was screaming was outside of it something about the star. Los Angeles Police Department was called to the scene and confronted the man who was still outside of the property.
The cops reportedly detained the man, and upon a search of his vehicle, found a loaded handgun. Of course, the man was arrested for possession of a concealed firearm, and taken to the L.A. County lock-up.
According to reports, LAPD received the 911 call around 11 AM on Saturday, about a man yelling outside of her home. The person arrested is a 24-year-old man from Colorado.
Alexandra Daddario Spotted Walking With Fiance, Andrew Form, Following The Incident
It should be noted, most celebrities file a TRO, partially because people like this can be released from jail quickly, and might return to the property. This way, police can immediately arrest the person for violating the court order, instead of monitoring them for other crimes. The person's bail was set at $35,000.
At this point, it's unclear why the person was targeting Daddario, but she is very active on social media, with 21 million Instagram followers. The actress is also famous for her roles in 'Baywatch,' 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre,' and 'The White Lotus.'
Following the scary incident, the actress was photographed walking with her fiance, Andrew Form, in Beverly Hills. It's unclear if he was home during the incident. In the days prior, Alexandra was in New York for Fashion Week.
Taylor Swift Obsessed Fan Plows Car Into Her NYC Apartment
Speaking of New York, Taylor Swiftfound herself in a similar situation in the past month, after a man plowed his car into the singer's NYC apartment building.
As we reported, law enforcement says a man was observed driving the wrong way down Taylor's street in NYC and drove it straight into the building. Apparently, the person was trying to contact the singer, and while reversing his car crashed right into a fire hydrant and her building.
During the incident, the man allegedly got out of his car and attempted to speak with Taylor through the intercom system. While mumbling something about the singer, he reportedly attempted to rip it out of the wall. Photographs following the scary incident show it hanging from the wall with busted wires.
Again, it is a common thing dealt with by celebrities and the court system is normally helpful in protecting them with restraining orders.
Either way, it is a scary situation.
