Ladies and gentlemen, another celebrity couple won't be walking down the aisle in 2022!
Food Network star Alex Guarnaschelli and her fiancé Michael Castellon may be master chefs, but their cooking skills couldn't save their relationship from getting chopped up.
On Monday, February 21, PEOPLE confirmed that the beloved TV personalities ended their 5-year relationship, despite their previous plans to get married.
Alex Guarnaschelli And Michael Castellon Are No Longer An Item
Since 2007, Guarnaschelli has won the hearts of food lovers in America and various countries by lighting up their TV screens with her award-winning culinary skills on Food Network.
Unfortunately, the renowned chef's latest dish was a cold plate of heartbreak as the "Alex vs. America" star won't be tying the knot with Castellon, her now-former fiance.
The tragic end of the couple's relationship comes almost two years after the pair announced their engagement in June 2020. At the time, the "Alex's Day Off" host expressed her excitement for a blissful future.
The 52-year-old told the news outlet that the lovebirds weren't in a rush to get married, but they also couldn't wait to plan their big day.
The culinary stars had been dating for four years before the former "Chopped" contestant proposed to the "Old-School Comfort Food" author.
Naturally, food brought the pair together as Guarnaschelli first met her ex-lover while visiting the restaurant he worked at. Recalling the fairytale meeting, the "Worst Cooks in America" mentor said:
"I was out to dinner with a friend, and at a restaurant, and I knew the waiter, and I was eating dinner, and I said, 'This steak is just so good.' And the waiter, my friend, said, 'Oh my God, my best friend is the cook, the chef, here.'"
The waiter implored the Food Network star to meet Castellon after her meal, which the TV personality gladly did. However, she went from falling in love with the chef's delicious steak to falling for him.
Afterward, the pair enjoyed a beautiful relationship that eventually blossomed into an engagement. According to the "Iron Chef America Countdown" star, her ex-fiance proposed uniquely.

The former couple was driving back from the grocery store when Castellon suddenly parked the car on the side of the road, claiming he saw a baby deer.
He got out of the vehicle to investigate and coaxed Guarnaschelli into doing the same; while the "The Home Cook" author was distracted, the culinary expert got down on one knee and popped the big question.
As previously shared by The Blast, the beloved chef announced her engagement on her 48th birthday with a picture of her emerald and diamond ring.
The dazzling jewelry consisted of a square-cut green gem with diamonds on each side of the ring. This heartwarming post was simply captioned, "Ok, @chermike808, you're on!'"
At the time, the news of the couple's engagement was widely received by fans and celebrities, including Chef Antonia Lofaso, Chef Marcus Samuelsson, Chef Giada De Laurentiis, and former WWE star Nikki Bella.
Before her relationship with Castellon, the "America's Best Cook" star was married to Brandon Clark from 2007 to 2015, and their relationship was blessed with a daughter, Ava.

As shared by MASHED, the executive chef at New York's Butter restaurant got her culinary skills from her late parents — Maria and John Guarnaschelli.
The entertainer's late mother was a renowned cookbook editor who worked on notable projects like Julie Sahni's "Classic Indian Cooking," while her father was "an Italian and Chinese cooking enthusiast."
Given her parents' culinary-savvy ways, it was only natural their love for delicious food inspired the "Supermarket Stakeout" host's successful career.
Like most chefs, the culinary expert can whip up various types of cuisine from Italian to Chinese but her favorite meals to cook were French dishes.
The 52-year-old studied under Guy Savoy in Paris and the La Varenne Cooking School in Burgundy. Maria, her late mother, also influenced the TV host's love for French cuisine.
Surprisingly being a celebrated chef didn't mean that the Food Network star enjoyed a five-star meal every day. The mother-of-one previously confessed that she enjoyed eating carbs like "In-N-Out Burgers and hot dogs."
