The singer was born Henry Olusegun Adeola Samuel on February 19, 1963. The British singer-songwriter was born in Paddington, London, in the United Kingdom. He has sold more than 20 million records worldwide. Among the many songs he’s known for, his 1994 song “Kiss from a Rose” might be his most famous!
Seal: Everything You Need To Know
Seal is known for his deep soulful singing voice, which has earned him countless awards throughout the decades. He has won three BRIT awards, including Best British Male in 1992. He has also won four Grammy Awards and an MTV Music Award. He has received two Ivor Novello Awards for Best Song Musically and Lyrically from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers, and Authors for two of his top hits: “Killer” in 1990 and “Crazy” in 1991.
Seal has also appeared in numerous reality shows. He appeared as a coach on Australia’s version of “The Voice” in 2012, 2013, and 2017. He also competed on season 2 of Fox’s musical guessing game competition “The Masked Singer,” where he performed in a Leopard costume. Unfortunately, he finished in fourth place. The winner that season was “Let’s Make a Deal” host Wayne Brady.
And, since you’re probably wondering, the scarring on Seal’s face is the result of a form of lupus called discoid lupus erythematosus, which leaves large scars on the skin. He also has a brother named Jeymes Samuel. He is also an accomplished singer-songwriter who performs under the name “The Bullitts.”
But today we’re focusing on Seal and his top hits! Have a listen to some of his best-known songs below!

“Not only does this song hold up from my childhood, it is in hindsight an amazing cover that retains a great deal of the elements that made the original so cool,” another wrote.
“Love this version Seal! Always makes me want to run, do art… send out light,” another wrote.
“Sounds good to me,” another wrote. “The song already was great but Seal’s voice makes it even more sweet. Song gives you good vibes and inspiration.”
