Wendy Williams is out and about amid her health issues, and she has shared a new update on how she's doing. This time Williams celebrated her father's 91st birthday in the most relaxing way possible.
She posted new photos on Instagram to honor her dad's special day. Williams and her father were both in the pictures, sitting on leather armchairs and enjoying each other's company.
Fans took to the comments section to send their love to the pair and birthday blessings to the elder. In addition, a few fans remarked on how happy and healthy they both looked.
Wendy Williams Pays Tribute To Her Father With Happy Pictures On His Birthday
Williams posted two photos in honor of the 91-year-old's day. In both images, her father wore jeans, a multi-colored checkered shirt, and a pair of black-and-red sneakers, while the loving daughter wore an all-black ensemble with furry shoes.
Wendy looked radiant with a huge smile on her face as she held on to her father affectionately and chatted with him. The renowned show host was perfectly sun-kissed and rocked her honey-blonde tresses in a center part.
As Williams honored her father's birthday yesterday with social media posts, people used the opportunity to confirm in the comments section if she was really back in the limelight.
Under the post, a fan wrote, "Is 2022 the last season of the Wendy show?? We need answers (two crying emojis)."
Several other fans welcomed her back and couldn't wait to see her on her show, while a fan expressed how great it felt seeing Williams take control of her narrative.
Days ago, The Blast reported that the television personality broke her silence about her hiatus from the show and opened up about returning to television in a video filmed by her son Kevin Hunter Jr.
The clip was shot on a beach in Florida, and it took all of 5 minutes. She mentioned her current residence was in the state because of her need to be with real family.
The 57-year-old further explained that she was taking a break from television and assured her fans of her return to hosting "The Wendy Williams Show"; she would be back stronger than ever.
Several weeks before she made the video, Williams' financial advisors were concerned about her mental state following speculations of exploitations regarding her finances.
This led to a court case because her bank didn't believe she was healthy enough to make the right financial decisions on her own. However, her video proved otherwise as she looked like she was making progress.
Williams Was Denied Access To Her Financial Assets Due To Health Concerns
About Williams' financial institution's concern for her health, The Blast previously reported that her bank Wells Fargo sent a letter of request to a New York county judge regarding the star's financial affairs.
The letter read, "We are concerned about [Wendy's] situation, it is our hope that the Guardianship Part [of the courts] will immediately appoint a temporary guardian or evaluator to review the situation and ensure that [Wendy's] affairs are being properly handled."

On February 4, Williams filed an emergency petition to regain access to her frozen assets, which Wells Fargo had denied her access for more than two weeks due to concerns for her mental health.
However, Williams denied all allegations regarding her mental health. Her lawyer LaShawn Thomas told Page Six that the mother-of-one was fine and of sound mind.
He explained that her time away from television was used to engage holistic health professionals to assist her full recovery as she treated Graves' disease and thyroid concerns.
Thomas further stated that Williams was disappointed about the false statements of her affairs going around. Regardless, she appreciated her fans' support, patience, and love as she recovered.
'The Wendy Williams Show' Host May Be Replaced With A Permanent Guest Host
According to a previous report, there seems to be a replacement for Williams following her months of absence from the show. There could also be a change of the show's name in the works.
Per reports, comedian Sherri Shepherd would be given the new permanent guest host title in September because she consistently filled in for Williams whenever she was absent.
The show's producers fully support Shepherd even though the contract hasn't been fully signed yet. The comedian's permanent role on the show will supposedly be determined by how well Williams recovers.
