Keith Urban recently revealed he would be adding five shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace to replace Adele‘s. The shows will be held between March 25 and April 2.
Last month, the “Set Fire to the Rain” singer shared the sudden news of her Las Vegas residency postponement, which was a letdown for her fans.
However, Urban was ready to take on Vegas as he told Jeremy Parsons of PEOPLE how he got the residency dates.
Keith Urban Adds Five Brand-New Shows To The Las Vegas Residency
It all began when Urban got a panicked call one night and was asked if he could add a couple of shows. He told the news outlet that his team could do it, and it worked out perfectly.
The country star went on to describe the show’s venue, saying, “I love that room. The stage is literally an arena; it’s insane.”
The “Female” singer was pretty excited about the near future as he would be heading back on the road again after being cooped up because of COVID.
He announced the news of his Vegas trip via Twitter, where he also told his fans about the five brand-new shows that would be added to the Las Vegas Residency.
The excited artiste also informed them of the sales of tickets, with the expectation that he would see his fans in Vegas.
Not long ago, Urban released the music video of his song, “Wild Hearts.” He created the video for ‘the dreamers’ and to communicate the feeling of the journey he has been on from the beginning.
Before his fame, the singer hoped that eventually, he would be playing live to crowds in concert halls, and he wanted his fans to get a feel of his experience through the “Wild Heart” music video.
In the video, an old-fashioned boombox signified the beginning of his journey when few people listened to his songs. As the video went on, changes occurred, representing his climb to fame.

Last month, The Blast reported the unfortunate reason behind Adele’s postponed Las Vegas residency. The highly anticipated show had to be rescheduled because of delivery delays and COVID.
Half of Adele’s team contracted the virus, making it impossible to finish the show. She was heartbroken and apologized for the late announcement as her team ran out of time and options to save the show.
The “Hello” Songstress May Not Return For Her Las Vegas Residency
There were speculations about Adele’s Las Vegas residency being totally revoked at the beginning of the month.
The Blast shared that the assumptions arose from leaked pictures of the dismantling of the stage at Caesars Palace, where her residency was said to hold. The venue was already booked for January 21 to April 16.
At the time, preparations for the show’s production, including her “Flying Platform,” were halted. However, “Flying Platform” was completely scrapped from the Colosseum theater.
A Las Vegas-based journalist revealed that the requested equipment at the venue was being packed up while the original equipment was re-installed. The journalist also believed Adele wouldn’t be returning to Caesars Palace.
The 33-Year-Old Tries To Atone For Her Canceled Show In Vegas
Following Adele’s canceled residency, she tried to make amends to her fans as they took her cancellation announcement pretty hard.
The Blast reported that the cancellation came the day before the show, and many fans were already in Vegas and had booked hotel rooms in advance.
Entertainment Weekly revealed that the singer wrote a note for her fans who made the trip to Vegas. The note was written with lipstick on a mirror in a store at Caesars Palace. She wrote:
“Hi guys! I’m so upset to not be with you tonight, but I know some of you are here already, so please hang out and look at the outfits, take pics of anything you want. Of yourselves and with each other!”
The note continued, “There’s people in the room I worked with on the store and the merch; there’s members of my management in here too to show you around.”
The apologetic artiste concluded the note with an apology and let her fans who were meant to attend the show know that they could have free gifts from the store.
Adele showed so much love to her fans as she FaceTimed many of them who traveled to Vegas to see her perform.
Her forgiving fans were touched by her gesture and were glad to chat with her. The star was thankful for their forgiveness and was delighted to have the best fans in the world.
