“Every woman that I have a child with, there’s definitely been conversation about, ‘Wow, how amazing this would be.’ I feel like every woman I have a child with are amazing mothers,” he explained. “There was a thought process going into like, ‘Man, she would be an amazing mother, she’s desired children, I can’t wait to see what type of mother she would be.'”
He said in conclusion, “I would say that they’re all planned.”
Cannon Blames Connection For The Pregnancies
“I’m going to take full responsibility,” Cannon noted. “Any woman that I know that I have unprotected sex with, there’s the potential to have a child. So I feel like if I have unprotected sex with anyone I know — because one, I value everything about me so much, if I’ve gotten to that point where I say, ‘I can take off this condom,’ I’m gonna say, ‘She could be the mother of my child.'”
Cannon has two kids with Mariah Carey, twins Moroccan and Monroe, 10. He’s also a dad to Golden “Sagon,” 4, and Powerful Queen, 13 months with Brittany Bell; twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, 7 months, with Abby De La Rosa; and Zen, 5 months, with Alyssa Scott. Sadly, Zen died in December after a battle with brain cancer.
Cannon Would Use ‘Two Condoms’
Unlike popular belief, Cannon claims he won’t have unprotected sex with just anyone, because according to him, he’s the “biggest germ freak in the world.”
“When it comes to hygiene and all,l I’m the biggest germ freak in the world. I will put on two condoms,” he said.
“Like, if I don’t know you. And I feel like, okay, the end, really. Probably this is part of the problem because I’m such a germaphobe. And I’ll go to the extent of like, ‘yo, let’s go to the doctor together. I get my blood taken, you know, every three weeks, because of my condition. I want to know all the panels. I want to know what bacteria I need to know everything because that’s how much of a germ freak I am,” Cannon continued.
Cannon’s Celibacy Journey Was A ‘Challenge’
When Dr. Berman asked whether he was celibate, the rapper said, “Yes. And I was.”
“I thought at first it was working when I told the world — that probably was a problem. Because then I felt like it was like this challenge. And then everybody was like, ‘I’m gonna make you break yourself.’ Why would you want to do that?” he shared.
Cannon then pointed out that his celibacy journey reached a point that it “wasn’t healthy because then it started bringing up all of these things of like, ‘well, why are you doing this? Are you in it?'”
He continued, “A lot of people in my life started making it like, ‘Well, is it me, or is it our connection?’ And I’m like, ‘No, I’m really doing this. To one — to be honest — keep the peace.”
Cannon’s Not A Fan Of Monogamy
During the chat, the “Wild ‘N Out” host also admitted, “I just don’t feel like monogamy is healthy,” adding, “I feel like that gets into the states of selfishness and ownership.”
As for his “ultimate goal,” he wants to “be the best father I can be.”
When it comes to finding the right woman, Cannon said, “Whoever is willing to put up with me, that will be the one.”
Only Mariah Carey Stole His Heart
Out of all the women, Cannon confessed that it was only his ex-wife with whom he had a real romantic relationship with.
“If we were gonna be honest, like obviously kids and all of it, I mean, obviously, Mariah and I co-parent very well. She and I just started with really great friends and she’s kind of taught me so much so like that’s family,” he said,” adding that being married to her in the past, made all the difference.
Cannon recently released a track about Carey. He wants her back, but their reconcilitaion might not happen anytime soon — or at all — since she’s with boyfriend Bryan Tanaka.
