Rapper DaBaby is being sued by his baby mama’s brother after allegedly attacking him at a Los Angeles bowling alley during Super Bowl weekend.
According to the lawsuit, Brandon Bills is going after the ‘Levitating’ rapper over a brutal fight that went down inside an L.A. bowling alley.
As we reported, a video of the incident surfaced on social media almost immediately after it happened — showing DaBaby and a crew of individuals beating on Bills smack dab in the middle of the bowling lanes.
DaniLeigh’s Brother Sues DaBady For Assault & Battery
In the lawsuit, Brandon reportedly claims he walked by DaBaby in the bowling alley, and the rapper suddenly attacked him. During the incident, Brandon claims he didn’t fight back — which is visible in the video — and says the assault resulted in “physical and psychological damage.”
The brutal beatdown is being investigated by Los Angeles authorities for assault with a deadly weapon after the rapper allegedly kicked Brandon in the head while he was on the ground. It should be noted, DaBaby is claiming the fight was in self-defense, and Bill started it.
DaBaby Accused Of Violent Beatdown Inside L.A.Bowling Alley
The fight comes on the heels of a domestic dispute between DaBaby and Brando’s sister — DaniLeigh. Back in November, the singer was charged with assault after officers were called to the rapper’s North Carolina home. At the time, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department charged her with two misdemeanors after an investigation found enough evidence she physically struck the rapper.
DaBaby filmed most of the incident, seemingly to make sure it was documented for protection purposes. The following day, the rapper posted a video online accusing her of using their baby for internet clout but vowed to take care of their child, despite problems between them.
DaniLeigh Charged For Assaulting DaBaby During Domestic Dispute
DaniLeigh opened up about the situation, claiming DaBady is an “evil a– man.” The singer’s mother issued a statement about the incident, saying, “I didn’t want to address this until I knew my daughter and granddaughter were safe. Thank you for your texts, DM’s, and phone calls. This is clearly a toxic situation and all we wanted to do was to get her out safely. Just know we are continuing to do everything we can to make sure she and the baby are good. God is on our side, and we pray this situation ends as peacefully and quickly as possible.”
DaniLeigh’s brother is suing for assault, battery, emotional distress, and negligence.
Brandon might have a few issues with the lawsuit, considering he told photographers November he wouldn’t beat up DaBaby in a boxing match. DaniLeigh’s brother was interviewed at The Grove in L.A. saying he would get in the ring with the rapper. “I will knock him out,” he told cameras, claiming he is willing to bet $200,000 on the fight.
Either way, the duo will now be duking it out in a court of law.
DaBaby has yet to respond to the lawsuit.
