Nick Cannon is yearning for his ex-wife, Mariah Carey.
The TV personality dropped a new song, “Alone,” on Valentine’s Day, which he describes as a “gospel of my broken soul.”
“Alone” is an ode to Carey, whom he shares 10-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe.
In a press release, Cannon said, “This is the gospel of my broken soul, this is as raw as it gets.”
Yesterday he tweeted, “This is for anybody else who is #ALONE on Valentines Day… I had to come Raw from the heart on this one. #Broken #Shattered #Toxic #RAW&B #Alone.”

In one portion of the song he raps, “I don’t want to be here… Alone. I’ve been tryin’ to keep my distance, keep my distance. I’ve been lyin’ I say ‘I’m cool’ when I know I miss it. I’d trade it all for the case if I could have you back. If I could go back to where we started at.”

He also samples Carey’s 1990 hit, “Love Takes Time,” at the beginning of the song as well.
The singer basically puts it all out there right up top.
Cannon starts off singing, “First off, Imma say I ain’t got nothin’ but love for ya. Imma stay away, I ain’t tyrin’ to f**k it up for ya. Imma keep my distance, stay in my lane, cause I know you got a man, it’s a little too late.”
Later he goes on to sing, “But every time I need some love, I can’t find it. This is a subtle reminder that I’m still undecided.”
Carey & Cannon were married rom 2008 to 2016, but decided to part ways in 2014. They welcomed their twins in April 2011.
After their separation, the former couple made a pact to remain on good terms for their children.

Moroccan and Monroe are two of Cannon’s eight children, and the only children Carey has.
Cannon has seven other children with four different women, and recently announced he’s expecting his eighth child.
His wild bedroom ways got so out of hand that he made a celibacy pact with himself in late 2021. He pledged to stay celibate until 2022, but didn’t quite make it past New Year’s Eve without having sex.
This is something Cannon sings about in “Alone.”

“As much as I want you back, It’s probably better where you at,” he sings. “Cause I’m still running the streets, I’m still all in the sheets having babies. Models and singers and actresses saying they pregnant by me. Have to pay $10,000 a week, I take care of my peeps. Now you don’t worry about when I creep. You got a man next to you when you sleep.”
“Alone” is part of an upcoming mixtape, “Raw N B: The Explicit Tape.”
Kanye West has recently been sounding the alarm on his failed marriage to Kim Kardashian, and expressing his desire to get her back.
Kim is currently dating Pete Davidson, and has petitioned to speed up her divorce from Kanye in Los Angeles. It doesn’t seem like she’s keen to get back with him… just sayin’.
On Valentine’s Day, Kanye drove to Kim’s Hidden Hills mansion uninvited and unannounced.
He parked a massive black pick-up truck at the bottom of her driveway with dozens upon dozens of roses in the truck bed.
He had the following message for Kim, “MY VISION IS KRYSTAL KLEAR.”

We are told the roses were “intended” for the SKIMS mogul.
Earlier in the day, he posted that he had “faith we’ll be back together.”
On Tuesday, February 15, Kanye took to Instagram once again to apologize for harassing Kim on social media.
