Eve is a proud mother of a wonderful baby boy! After a public pregnancy, the famous rapper took to social media to announce that she and her husband Maximillion Cooper welcomed a son.
The doting mother shared the first photo of the newborn alongside other heartwarming details.
Eve Welcomes Beautiful Son
Eve took to Instagram to share a heart-melting photo of her baby boy in all his glory. The newborn was sweetly asleep in his bassinet, donning a white onesie and covered with a blue and white blanket.
The little one looked all shades of adorable and had his mother's black hair. Eve shared details about her son's birth and announced his name in the accompanying caption. She wrote:
Our Beautiful boy was born Feb 1st 2022 ๐ Wilde Wolf Fife Alexander Somers Cooper ๐ Words canโt describe this feeling.
Doting father Cooper camped underneath the post with several blue heart emojis. Congratulations rang from colleagues and fans who celebrated the good news. Model Noami Campbell wrote, "Congratulations @therealeve and welcome to the world precious Wilde , play dates please."
"RHOA" star Nene Leakes commented, "Welcome to mommy hood. Congrats girlie" while singer Kelly Rowland added, "So incredibly happy for you!!!! He is beautiful!!!!!" Actress Marisha Wallace gushed, "Omg !!! BABY BOY! Congratulations sis love you!"
Baby Wilde is the first for the "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" rapper and the fifth for Maximillion, a successful entrepreneur.
The Rapper Announced Her Pregnancy Last Year
As The Blast previously covered, Eve broke the news of her pregnancy in October 2021 to the utmost delight of fans. "The Talk" alum took to social media to make the announcement with a photo of her growing bump.
Eve stunned in an all-black ensemble consisting of a sheer shirt, a skirt, and a matching baker boy hat, as she cradled her bump. "You all know how long weโv been waiting for this blessing!!! We get to meet our lil human February 2022," she declared in the caption.
The 43-year-old has been open about her struggles with infertility since she got married to Maximillion in 2014. In 2020 before departing from "The Talk," Eve got candid on air about the turmoil she and her husband experienced with difficulty to conceive.
Eve who always believed that pregnancy came naturally to all women, began to feel out of place when she couldn't conceive. "I felt like I was damaged. I felt like I was broken. I felt like maybe I wasn't good enough," she confessed.
The "Barbershop" star admitted that she felt she wasn't deserving of the blessing of pregnancy and carried around the shame for a long time. However, it wasn't until she spoke about her struggles publicly that the burden eased.
A Doting Stepmother To Maximillion's Kids
While baby Wilde is a first for the rapper, this isn't her first introduction to motherhood. Eve has been a wonderful stepmother to Maximillion's four kids from his previous relationship.
She has often spoken about her relationship with her stepkids and how long it took her to adjust. Eve recalled telling Maximillion their relationship wasn't going to work because he had four kids.

However, things became easier over time as she tapped into her childhood experience of having a stepfather. Also, meeting the kids in person and realizing they were awesome helped Eve fit into the role better.
I will say it took years, though, I'm not gonna lie. It did take two or three years to adjust, just our relationship with the kids. But I have to say I'm very lucky. I feel very, very lucky that I had my insta-kids โ I call them my bonus children.
Eve now has a wonderful relationship with her stepkids, and her desire to spend more time with them and Maximillion inspired her resignation from CBS's "The Talk." "Family, of course, that's No. 1," Eve said. "That's a lot of the reason why I made the decision to be here is because my husband and I were on planes every two to three weeks."
Congratulations to the couple!
