Billie Eilish kicked off her “Happier Than Ever, the World Tour” concert on Wednesday, February 9, to the delight of her fans worldwide.
Before the festivities began, a particularly high-profile fan, the President of the United States, wanted to meet her!
The “Ocean Eyes” singer and her brother ended up scoring a special invite to the White House to meet the 46th American President.
Billie Eilish Meets President Joe Biden Before Her DC Concert
President Joe Biden wanted to say hello to Eilish when he heard she and her brother Finneas O’Connell touched down in Washington DC and got his wish, of course.
The Head of State excitedly took to social media to recount the encounter to his followers. He updated his Twitter page with a selfie of him, O’Connell, and Eilish.
The trio maintained COVID-19 guidelines by donning black face masks. Biden wore a blue suit and tie that matched O’Connell’s vest while Eilish stayed casual in a hoodie with skull patterns. Biden tweeted,
“When I heard my friends @billieeilish and @finneas were in town for a show, I knew I had to invite them over to the White House, Great to see you and your family — and I’m glad you got to meet Commander [POTUS’s new pet dog].”

An official from the White House divulged to PEOPLE that the “You Should See Me In A Crown” singer, her mother Maggie, and father Patrick all received an invite to meet President Biden.
It may not surprise many that Eilish has ties to the US President, as she and O’Connell heavily backed him during his political campaign.
The official noted, “Billie and Finneas were supporters during Biden’s campaign, and the Biden family have been long-time fans of their music.”
During the virtual Democratic National Committee convention held in August 2020, the “Bad Guy” singer made her debut performance of her single “My Future.”
Eilish also boldly took a jab at former POTUS Donald Trump at the show, crediting him for “destroying our country and everything we care about.”
The Oscar-nominee continued that the United States needs leaders to tackle issues including COVID and climate change rather than deny them. She concluded:
“And that starts by voting for someone who understands how much is at stake. Someone who’s building a team that shares our values. It starts with voting against Donald Trump and for Joe Biden.”

The “Getting Older” Singer’s Parents Shamed For Destroying Her Brain
Maggie and Patrick recently came under fire for being neglectful parenting, which exposed underage Eilish to pornographic content that affected her mental health.
The Blast disclosed that during a recent interview with Howard Stern, the “When The Party’s Over” singer admitted she watched violent porn at age 11. She candidly explained:
“As a woman, I think porn is a disgrace. I used to watch a lot of porn, to be honest. I think it really destroyed my brain and I feel incredibly devastated that I was exposed to so much porn.”
Following Eilish’s interview, “Boy Meets World” alum and current porn star Maitland Ward shamed the star’s parents for corrupting her.
Ward told TMZ that it was a problem for a child of 11 to watch violent porn when her parental figures were meant to be watching over her.
The outlet asked the porn actress if Eilish should blame the porn industry rather than her parents. Ward replied that her parents are guilty of child abuse.

The “White Chicks” actress buttressed, “a child should not be watching porn ever at that age, and especially… I heard she was watching like abusive porn like… no.”
Billie Eilish Paused Her Concert For Distressed Fan
Eilish’s fans mean the world to her, and she proved that when she stopped her concert to attend a fan’s medical emergency.
Earlier this month, The Blast shared that during the Georgia leg of her “Happier Than Ever” world tour at the State Farm Arena, she noticed someone in the audience was having breathing issues.
Per ET, Eilish paused her concert to approach the concert-goer and ask if she needed an inhaler. She then asked one of her crew members to get one.
The “i love you” musician handed an inhaler to the distressed fan and asked people to give the person some space before resuming her performance.
Eilish said, at the moment which was caught on camera and well-received by viewers, “I wait for people to be OK until I keep going.”
