'1000-LB Sisters' star Tammy Slaton is updating fans on her current recovery, by sharing shocking photos of herself giving a kissy face with a tracheostomy tube still attached to her neck.

The reality star stunned fans on Instagram, seemingly to post happily posed pictures of herself -- only to show off the necessity to still use a  breathing assistance device. In the photos, it looks like Tammy is using a filter to brush up the photos a bit, and is puckering up with a "duck face" style look for the camera.

As you know, Tammy was recently hospitalized for carbon dioxide poisoning after not being able to get enough oxygen into her body. According to reports, the condition is called obesity hypoventilation syndrome, and doctors explain it when someone is overweight, they often don't take deep enough breaths to clear the CO2 from their lungs.

During a recent episode, a family member mentioned they believed she stopped breathing for a moment while on the couch.

As you can see, Tammy was forced to undergo a Tracheostomy, which includes doctors cutting a hole in the front of the neck to pump oxygen straight into the lungs. Following the hospitalization, Slaton was placed in a rehab facility to work on dropping weight. It appears she might still be inside the facility.

As we reported, the reality star recently took a break from dieting to focus on her mental health. A clip of the show revealed Tammy was suffering from depression and other ailments and was drinking heavily. Tammy's doctor spoke to the reality star about the drinking, asking "Is it worse when you’re by yourself versus when people are here?" She responded, "By myself, that’s why I kinda felt like I needed to just take a break and not think about diets, relationships. Just clear my mind. Just work on me."

Tammy confesses she has been drinking "eight bottles a week." The stunned doctor questions it, saying, "Like fifths of liquor? Oh wow, Tammy. That’s a lot."

Adding, "She says she’s focusing on her mental health, which if that was true, I’m all about that. But she’s not made any strides to actually do it, so I’m a little concerned that she’s actually just using that as an excuse to buy her more time to not work on her activity level, make some changes in her diet, or anything further than that."

Fans are flooding the Instagram page with comments like, "Stay strong in your journey, Tammy. So many are sending their love, positive thoughts, and prayers." Another added, "Tammy I hope you are doing good! Please take care ❤️ I cried when I heard you had stopped breathing👊🏻😭 but God has given you another chance to be with your family that loves you."
