“Word on the street says it’s none other than British icon Tom Hiddleston’s birthday,” the letter began. “We, at the Cambridge Union, would like to wish @twhiddleston a Happy Birthday.”

“In your 41st year of life we think it would be more than reasonable to consider returning to Cambridge to speak at the Cambridge Union as we would be delighted to have you and *many* students (if not all) who are eager to welcome you and show their love,” they continued.

“We don’t give up,” they continued. “Happy birthday.”
