Maitland Ward Poses TOPLESS As She Announces New Memoir Release Date

Maitland Ward is releasing her book this fall!

The adult film star, 45, took to Instagram and announced the new release date of her upcoming memoir, "Rated X: How Porn Liberated Me from Hollywood."

Ward also added some pictures of herself where she posed topless underneath a navy blue kaftan -- leaving her cleavage and taut tummy on display. She did add a little coverage by sporting matching panties.

"My Memoir has been moved to the much coveted fall date of September 6th!" Ward wrote in the caption.

"The demand and pre-sales have truly been amazing ? ! This is incredible and I can’t wait for you to read it and be a part of this launch! I’m so happy you guys are so excited!! If you haven’t already reserved your copy, you can go my author link in my bio @simonandschuster to check it out the links to get it," she added.

The "Boy Meets World" star's followers loved her photos as they wrote compliments and praise for her in the comments section. Some followers also expressed their excitement for her upcoming memoir.

"That's amazing I'm happy for you. Can't wait to read your book!" one commented.

"No wonder amazon emailed me to inform me my book delivery would be delayed! ??" a second user chimed in.

"Idk why and honestly don't care...just seeing you and that smile brightened up my day," added the third fan.

In December, Ward revealed the book cover and title. Back then, she told fans the book will be released on July 5, 2022.

"I'm so EXCITED I can finally reveal my Book cover & Title for my upcoming Memoir from @simonandschuster & @atriabooks," the actress began.

"It will be released July 5, 2022! The presale campaign starts January 15th, but you can preorder now on every major book dealer site! There will be US & overseas book signing tour & a massive PR campaign with talk show and radio appearances everywhere!" Ward continued, adding, "I can’t wait to share this story with you. I hold nothing back and you will get the most intimate look at my personal and professional life! Thank you to everyone who made this possible. ❤️"

In another share, the "White Chicks" star shared she was "trending #1" on Amazon's upcoming New Book Releases.

"It doesn’t come out for another 7 months and to see so many of you so excited and already purchasing just warms my heart!" she wrote in the post. "I can’t wait for everyone to read it! I promise you won’t be disappointed ? To see more you can go to my author page @simonandschuster! ☺️"

Ward joined the adult film industry because she was typecasted as the good girl next door, which hindered her from growing in the entertainment industry.

According to the Simon & Schuster website, Ward "reveals the ups and downs of her fascinating career, including personal stories from her time on one of the most beloved shows of the 1990s" in her memoir.

"This is one of the proudest moments of my career. I'm so thrilled that I get to share my life and story in such a unique and impactful way," Ward said in a statement. "I am beyond grateful to Simon & Schuster and Atria books for having belief in my writing and my voice."

Ward's senior editor Michelle Herrera Mulligan said in the press release:

Ward recently turned 43 on February 3, and she shared a special post on social media for her birthday.

"It’s my birthday ?? When I was 28 years old someone told me I only had 2 years left to 'make it'. And part of me believed that," she wrote. "And in my early 30’s I kind of gave up on thinking I would achieve the dream that I wanted. But when I got to my mid 30’s I said screw this! I’m going to do this on my own. And today, as I turn 45 I have more success, love & opportunities than I could have ever imagined."
