So in case you didn’t see “The Clone Wars,” bounty hunter Cad Bane (Corey Burton) had once mentored a young Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) after his father, Jango Fett, died in the “Attack of the Clones.”

Cad Bane and Boba Fett duke it out and some interesting revelations are made, including one that it was not a biker gang that killed Boba Fett’s Tusken Raider family from the flashback sequence – it was the Pykes. Although Boba Fett seems to kill Cad Bane, many fans are hoping that he’ll make a return, considering that Cad Bane is too much of a fan favorite to bring back for only two episodes and then kill off right away.

Speaking of returns, however, Grogu made his choice. He returned to help the Mandalorian Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and ends up subduing his Rancor when it gets out of control.

Many fans weren’t surprised to see Grogu’s return: it’s been stated numerous times that a young Ben Solo (Adam Driver) was Luke Skywalker’s (Mark Hamill) first student at his Jedi Academy, and many are looking forward to seeing Mando and Baby Yoda reunite for “The Mandalorian” season 3, even if it doesn’t have a release date.

The Marshall of Freetown Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olphant) also makes a brief appearance in Boba Fett’s Bacta tank in the end-credits epilogue, so it appears that he’s not quite dead after all! Who definitely is dead, however, is the Hammerhead mayor of Mos Espa and the Pykes Boss, who met a quick end at the hands of Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen).

At the end of the day, Boba Fett and Fennec Shand are walking through the streets of Tatooine, victorious. “We are not suited for this,” Boba Fett tells her.

“If not us, then who?” Fennec asks.

It’s a good question because the second season of “The Book of Boba Fett” hasn’t been confirmed. Considering two chapters out of the 7-episode series focused on Din Djarin, it seems there might not be enough material to validate a sequel. However, Morrison said that if a second season was to go forward, he would want to hunt down Mace Windu (Samuel L. Jackson) as revenge for killing Jango Fett. (Just wait until he really finds out what happened to Mace Windu!)
