In April 2020, the "Kate: The Kate Moss Book" author's younger sister confessed that she was finally happy after neglecting her wellbeing for years due to anxiety.

According to the OnlyFans star, the poor state of her mental health plus hanging out with the wrong crowd encouraged her to "act out of character" and become a person she didn't like.

The situation worsened after the British model tried to numb her emotions with drugs, and it took a long time before Lottie could proudly declare herself free of these vices.

Alas, the media personality seemed to be back to her old ways as per her Tiktok confession, which coincidentally came while "Euphoria" was under fire by Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E) for promoting immoral behavior.

The "Spider-Man: Homecoming" actress explained that "Euphoria" wasn't created as a moral compass to tell people how to go about their daily lives. Instead, it was made for anyone struggling with similar situations.

The Disney alum stated that the cast and producers of the show were trying to "help people feel a little bit less alone in their experience and their pain."

On that note, the Emmy winner believed her character played a pivotal part in showing those dealing with "addiction and loss" that there was hope in the future.

Although Rue was currently facing an emotional breakdown in the show, Zendaya assured fans that the teenager's emotional rollercoaster wouldn't end without a happy ending. In her words:

"We can't leave her here. It's really important that there's light at the end of the tunnel for her because I think she has a lot of beauty inside of her. Whether or not she quite sees that yet, is her own thing."

The "Dune" actress also noted that the show's goal was gradually being realized as a diverse group of people had confessed they connected with Rue's story.
