Kanye WestIs often in the news for both right and wrong reasons. The rapper has achieved fame for his musical talent and business acumen but has also cultivated a bunch of drama to spice up his storied career.
One thing you can't take away from West is his self-confidence. It has spilled over into his lyrics, with the rapper once calling himself "Yeezus" on his eponymously named 2013 album. Call this a god complex or an inflated sense of self-worth West seems not ready to back down on this belief.

It's All 'God's Plan'
Netflix recently released a trailer for West's upcoming documentary, which would chronicle his rise to fame, childhood origins and upbringing, and other intimate details about the rapper unaware to his fans.
The trailer has fans anticipating the documentary release, scheduled to debut on the streaming platform on February 16. From the trailer, one could see that Kanye held nothing back for this biopic, including his unshaken belief that God had predestined his success from the very beginning.
"I just think it was in God's plan," West said. "I just think He has me here for a reason, and I have something to say.
"There are people that might be better programmers, better rappers. The way I think I really won is I had the heart. If I do what I'm supposed to do, people are gonna look back like, 'Man! Remember dude used to just make beats for people?'"
Kanye Appreciated His Mom
The trailer had nearly 3 minutes of playtime and featured some stars who once collaborated with West. Big names like Jay-Z and Pharrell Williams and key players from his record label were seen in the background vibing together.

The short clip also revealed how much West was affected by the demise of his mother, Donda, in November 2007. The rapper had a close relationship with her, and her death was a tough one to swallow.
West appreciated his mother in the trailer acknowledging her role as his inspiration and guiding light through the hassles of the entertainment industry.
"I would like to congratulate you on the good job that you did with me," West said in a scene with his mother.
Donda Counselled Kanye
Kanye's conversation with his mother continued with her sharing several pieces of advice with him. "It's very important to remember that the giant looks in the mirror and sees nothing," she said.
On a different occasion, which happened before the release of his breakthrough single, 2004's "The College Dropout," Donda appeared to speak about her son's future groundbreaking success as a rapper, producer, and mogul.

"Anybody loves something that much and that long and is that good, it's gotta pay off," she told West.
Donda's love for her super talented son was everything a child could want from his mother. In the trailer, a scene highlighted her emotions, where she checked out her West's new bling: a gold necklace of an angel. Her words were, "You need an angel to watch over you,"
West Facing Difficulties In Guiding His Daughter
Despite enjoying a loving childhood from a mother who always guided him, West is facing difficulties doing the same for his daughter, North. The rapper called out his ex and mother of his kids, Kim Kardashian, for consenting to their daughter's appearance on Tik-Tok.

"SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL ?" West wrote in a recent Instagram post.
The write-up prompted a quick reaction from Kardashian, who decried that West's constant attacks on her personality are more hurtful than North's Tik Tok antics. With any luck, the pair would both resolve their co-parenting issues.
