The "Euphoria" series has taken the world by storm and quickly became a fan favorite with episodes that dived into raw topics, including addiction, drug abuse, and mental health.
The cast members of the HBO series offer stellar performances each episode, and many have made a name for themselves by booking the gig.
It may come as no surprise that Emmy-award winner Zendaya is the wealthiest star of the show but who comes second?
Which "Euphoria" Cast Member Is The Wealthiest After Zendaya?
Zendaya began to appeal to an adult audience when she starred as the lead on "Euphoria." Before then, she was a childhood Disney star on the "Shake It Up" singing and dancing series.
The 25-year-old then became the lead of "K.C. Undercover" from 2015 to 2018. She was also on the star-studded musical "The Greatest Showman," where she played Zac Efron's love interest.
Before casting in HBO's dark teen drama, the young star was already raking in heavy coins on Marvel's iconic "Spider-Man" series starring Tom Holland.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Zendaya's recent film projects—including the first installment of the blockbuster "Dune" starring Timothy Chalamet—have brought her earnings ranging from a whopping $10 million to $15 million.
The model is now recognized as an A-lister with many celebrity friends and endorsements deals with designer brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Versace, and Michael Kors. She is also the face of Lancôme's Idôle fragrance.
The other cast members of "Euphoria" are also thriving as the show has fueled their popularity and net worth. Such is the case for the show's second-richest star, Alexa Demie.
Demie, who plays Maddy Perez, grew up with minor acting roles, fashion designing, and songwriting. As the daughter of a makeup artist, she is responsible for her character's eye-catching makeup on the series per Hola.
Between Euphoria and her other projects, including "Nineteen on Fire," "Mid 90s," and "Brigsby Bear," Demie has accumulated a net worth estimate of $5 million.
On the heels of the "Waves" actress is Sydney Sweeney, who is no stranger to the acting scene with popular shows including "Sharp Objects" and HBO's "The Handmaid’s Tale." Her estimated net worth is $4 million.
Breakout star Hunter Schafer skyrocketed to fame with "Euphoria" after a career in intermittent modeling. She has a net worth range of $100,000 to $1 million per Celebsmoney.
The "Spider-Man: No Way Home" Actress Was Nervous For Her Role In Euphoria
Zendaya is critically-acclaimed for her role as Rue Bennett, a recovering teen drug addict with other personal problems in "Euphoria," but she was nervous about taking on the character.
The Blast disclosed that despite falling in love with the script from the start, the Saturn Award winner was anxious to prove her naysayers wrong. She told the New York Times:
“I was really nervous because I wanted to do well. It’s like going from nothing to everything — there were no steps in between. That’s why people think it is such a stretch for me to play this character. "
The Disney alum also considered that those who knew her from the previous shows, such as "Shake It Up," would doubt her ability to embody the Rue Bennet character. In her words:
"People probably think I can’t do it because they don’t truly understand my personality. And I get it. I am a Disney kid – there’s a lot to prove.”
On the other hand, the show's creator and writer Sam Levinson had Zendaya in mind when creating Bennett's character and had no doubts she would excel.

The "Dune" actress recalled, “He [Levinson] took a risk on me, but he does not see it that way. He would always say, ‘Yo, Z, I’m not worried about you.’ I appreciate that.”
Zendaya received widely positive acclaim for her role when "Euphoria" debuted on June 16, 2019, as well as an Emmy nomination.
The lead star won an Emmy for Best Actress in a Drama Series and may win more nods as the show continues its 2nd season with no signs of slowing down.
HBO confirmed that "Euphoria" would be getting a third run as Season 2 continues to boast solid ratings on HBO and HBO MAX Deadline reported.
The premiere of the sophomore season on January 9, 2022, delivered a whopping total of 14 million viewers across the company's platforms.
In the second season, Zendaya reprises her role as Rue, who has relapsed into addiction since Jules (Schafer) left for the city. Tensions also swell among her and other cast members.
