‘Together Forever’

Fans have a lot of thoughts about “Together Forever,” with some calling it a follow-up to the previous song.

“His songs are like wine,” one fan wrote. “The older they are, the better they get.”

“Whatever it is... Nobody will ever forget Rick Astley and his legendary songs,” another shared.

‘Whenever You Need Somebody’

The beginning of the song is oddly reminiscent of “Never Gonna Give You Up,” which has some fans concerned!

“The beginning gave me a heart attack,” one fan wrote.

“In an alternate universe, this is the rickroll song,” another fan joked.

“All memes aside, Rick Astley's songs are dope,” another shared.

“In case someone’s wondering, not only is the intro drum fill similar to Never Gonna Give You Up, it’s the exact same one with Never Gonna Give You Up using only the latter half whereas this song uses the whole measure,” one fan explained. “I guess it’s from a sample collection the producers had and they liked it so much they didn’t mind using it on two songs (which I’d like to point out are even placed in succession on the album).”
