Savannah Chrisley is speaking out after tabloids published articles about her ex-fiancé’s suicide attempt.
TMZ exclusively reported the incident on Wednesday, February 2.
Per the outlet, Sav’s ex-fiancé, Nic Kerdiles, had an “alleged mental breakdown” while holding onto a gun on Monday, January 31 in Nashville, TN.
Savannah along with her father, Todd Chrisley, knew it was best they take action and get the weapon away from Nic.

In a 911 call obtained by the publication, Savannah and Todd can be heard telling law enforcement officials about a “suicidal man, who had a gun to his head.”
Of course, emotions were running high and Savannah can be heard screaming in the background of the phone call saying, “Please, no!”
Another person, reportedly Todd, can be heard yelling, “Look at what you’re doing to her!”
Thank goodness everyone came out alive and unharmed.
Savannah and Todd were able to get into the house by smashing a window.
Eventually, they were able to calm Nic down enough to get him to release the gun and sit in the patriarch’s Range Rover until police arrived on scene.

The reality TV star believed her ex was in the midst of a psychotic episode on Monday night.
There’s no indication Nic was arrested, and that can be seen from video Savannah published to her Instagram account on Wednesday.
Todd starts out by saying, “Look at all those hearts [Likes] starting to show up.”
Savannah responds, “Hey we need all the hearts. So, I just wanted to start this Live by obviously talking about, we know much COVID has impacted all of us. And, not only has the disease truly impacted us, so has mental health.”
She went on to read some statistics about COVID having a direct effect on people’s mental health.

“In the last 48-hours, we have had some devastating, you know, incidents that have occurred, and those involve our boy Nic, and Nic would you like to share your story,” Todd said.
Savannah captioned the IG Live, “This is OUR truth.. screw the tabloids that are threatening to release info. It’s been a long few days…but we are here. Mental health is real… this is our truth. I’m so proud of you Nic. Thanking God everyday that he’s allowed us to keep you.”
Her ex-fiancé continued to tell his side of the story.
Nic said, “I’m super grateful to be here today. I recently went through COVID as well, and reading a lot more about it I kind of understand why this situation might’ve occurred the other night.”
He hopes that by sharing his story it will help someone else struggling with mental health.
“With COVID and some of the things I’ve had from COVID, I’ve been on medication and I decided to mix alcohol with it to a point that… A LOT of alcohol,” he continued. “I don’t remember anything that happened that night. I was in a full blackout, and luckily I had a haircut set up by my good friend Chad, and if he wasn’t there I don’t know if I would still be here today to be completely honest.”

Nic explained he had symptoms of depression, anxiety which were not sitting well with the effects of COVID he was experiencing.
Nic Talks About Suicide Incident Head On
Suicide is something Nic “never thought I’d do,” and he went on to thank his Savannah, Todd. and Chad.
Nic called out TMZ directly explaining, “We live in a world full of social media and people wanting to be the first to break a story for their own benefit and TMZ wants to go ahead and do that, so why not beat them to the punch and tell them the true story.”
Getting emotional, Savannah said, “I think one of the biggest takeaways is that it’s okay to not be okay.”
Nic and Savannah got engaged on December 24, 2018. Sadly, they ended up calling off their engagement in September 2020.
Savannah announced the split on social media and explained where they stood in their relationship.
"Nic and I have decided to call it quits," she said. "There's no hatred between the two of us...and in all honesty...that makes saying goodbye even harder. We have nothing but love, respect, and admiration for one another but it’s time for us to move forward individually."
