The TV personality added that her brief matrimonial experience with Owens was too short to be considered a marriage. Instead, what the couple had was better described as a "three-month dating relationship."

The "Say Yes to the Dress" star stated that her time with Biden's nephew had an abrupt start and end. However, she was navigating life after this hasty marriage with the help of her therapist.

According to the entertainer, her counselor explained that the mother-of-three shouldn't feel burdened by the sudden end of her marriage because it wasn't as serious as the former couple believed.

Nonetheless, King still felt unhappy about her separation from Owens as she genuinely wanted the pair to uphold their vows to be together forever. The 37-year-old said:

"I learned a lesson, and it's time to move on. I think about it as a memory, and I'm sad it didn't work out, I had hopes for it ... but it's fine. It literally feels like a nostalgic memory."

As previously reported by The Blast, the reality TV star made headlines in 2021 after walking down the aisle with Biden's nephew in an intimate wedding.

The politician and First Lady Jill Biden attended the family-oriented occasion, which the President's younger sister, Valerie Biden, hosted in her Pennsylvania home.

At the time, the bride confirmed the news of her nuptials to Owens by sharing a picture of the newlyweds in their stunning wedding outfits.

The groom looked dapper in a navy blue suit while his wife didn't follow tradition as she traded a white wedding gown for a gorgeous mini blazer dress that showed off her long-toned legs.

Surprisingly, the couple's wedding came less than a month after they confirmed they were dating. The news was shared in a sweet post on King's Instagram, in which she referred to Owens as her man.

The "Resale Royalty" Alum Has Experienced Her Fair Share Of Failed Marriages

Last month, The Blast shared that the blonde TV personality had opened up about the end of her brief fairytale marriage to Biden's nephew.

The Missouri native got candid about her failed marriage during an interview, in which the 37-year-old was asked to give Vicki Gunvalson relationship advice.

At the time, King's ex-co-star on "The Real Housewives of Orange County" was going through an emotional period as her ex-fiance Steve Lodge proposed to another woman.

Regarding this matter, the mother-of-three had no advice to give; however, she stated that the problem could be because Gunvalson and herself were narcissist attractors.

The Bravo alum didn't have the best track record when it came to love as she had been married twice before meeting Owens. Nonetheless, the entertainer had hoped Biden's nephew would be her true love.

As for why they broke up, an insider claimed their separation was influenced by the Missouri native's inability to adjust to California, where her estranged husband lived.

Regardless of the reason for their split, King wasn't dwelling on the past as The Blast revealed that the blonde beauty planned on focusing solely on her children in 2022.

The doting mother assured fans she was okay and moving on from as ex-husband by sharing a picture of her three children playing at the beach alongside the words that read:

"2022 resolution. I’m gonna mom the sh*t outta this year. Top that. Go ahead, whadya got."
