Adele’s Las Vegas residency could be on the verge of being completely canceled, based on new pictures leaked to social media showing Caesars Palace tearing apart the stage.
According to reports, the preparations and production on the new show have ended — including her ‘Flying Platform’ — which has been removed from the Colesseum theater altogether.
New pictures have surfaced on social media showing the platform sitting outside of the hotel and casino, appearing to be taken somewhere away from the venue.
Adele’s ‘Flying Platform’ Taken Out Of Las Vegas Concert Venue
A Las Vegas-based journalist tweeted, “Industry source believes Adele’s residency is done at Caesars Palace, as all preparations for the production have stopped, the sets have been loaded out and there’s no activity related to addressing concerns that presumably led to the cancellation.” Adding, “The sound system Adele and her team insisted upon is being taken out, the original equipment is being re-installed. Sources believe Adele may be picked up by Park MGM (Dolby Live) or Resorts World but doesn’t think she’ll return to Caesars Palace. A costly debacle.”
As we reported, Adele announced the delay of her highly anticipated Vegas shows, blaming COVID-19 for infiltrating her crew and making it impossible. Following the news, reports surfaced that the singer had major issues with a 60-person choir brought in to accompany her on ‘Skyfall’ during the show. Other reports claimed Adele was having loud arguments with boyfriend Rich Paul — but, it’s unclear what was the source of the discussions.
New Pictures Indicate Adele’s Residency Might Be Canceled Indefinelty?!
Originally, the venue was booked for Adele from January 21 through April 16. Now, the location is being filled by other singers and acts including, Keith Urban.
“Adele had been rehearsing in LA for several weeks … the execution of the sets was a ‘surprise’ to her, and there wasn’t time to rectify her concerns. There were many. Adele was picking things apart, including being upset her band was so far back on the stage,” another source told Page Six.
Adding, “Her displeasure ran the gamut, including seemingly insignificant things like demanding small cracks in the floor be repaired.”
Ticket Holders Told They Will Get Seats For New Adele Las Vegas Dates
Adele addressed the cancelation on IG, saying, “We’ve tried absolutely everything that we can to pull it together in time and for it to be good enough for you, but we’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID.” But, the show simply “isn’t ready.”
Interestingly, Adele just addressed her future on Instagram, saying, “Hiya, so I’m really happy to say that I am performing at the Brits next week!! Anddddd I’ll also be popping in to see Graham for a chat on the couch while I’m in town too! I’m looking forward to it! Oh, and Rich sends his love.”

Fingers crossed!
