Hold on to your hearts as Jennifer Lopez may melt it with her candid insight into how beautiful her life is with Ben Affleck.
Young 'Jenny From The Block' and Affleck were once Hollywood's sweetheart in 2002 but called off their engagement in 2004 and went on to live separate lives.
The two are back together and better than ever before, and the happy girlfriend dished some joyful details about their love life.
Jennifer Lopez Holds Her Second Chance With Ben Affleck Sacred
Lopez admitted that she has never been better in her cover story interview with PEOPLE Magazine set to hit shelves on Valentine's Day.
The actress has found inner peace in life with her rom-com "Marry Me," premiering on Feb 11, and her 13-year-old twins Max and Emme healthy and happy.
Another essential source behind Lopez's joy is Affleck. She expressed that she feels "so lucky and happy and proud to be with him" and considers their second chance a beautiful love story.
The lovebirds were hesitant to go public with their relationship because of the past. Lopez recalled, "we were naive, and it got a little trampled."
The "Maid In Manhattan" actress feels blessed to be in a loving relationship and wants to guard it. She added:
"I want to do everything I can to protect that and keep it safe. It deserves that; it really does... We hold it sacred."
As for how their relationship dynamic has evolved almost twenty years after they broke off their engagement, Lopez said things feel more beautiful and very different.
The mother-of-two noted as she proudly gushed about her second chance at true love saying:
"When you find somebody and you really, really love them, and you get a second chance at that? That is a really rare, precious, beautiful thing, and we don't take it for granted."
The Blast disclosed that Affleck holds the same sentiments as Lopez about their relationship and declared that he feels lucky and blessed to be with her.
In a recent cover story for WSJ. Magazine, "The Last Duel" actor hesitated about detailing his love life because he learned the hard way not to tell the world everything.
Affleck continued that "there are some private and intimate things," and he is getting more comfortable finding a healthy boundary around sharing.
Nevertheless, the proud boyfriend said of his relationship, "It's definitely beautiful to me, and... it was handled in a way that reflected that."
Affleck credits his relationship with Lopez for reflecting that he is "somebody who tries very hard and cares very much about being honest and authentic and accountable."
"The Tender Bar" Actor Gushes About His Girlfriend's Worldly Impact
Affleck is in awe of Lopez and praised her for having a powerful effect on the world by inspiring a massive group of people to feel they have a seat at the US table.
The Blast shared that the "Gone Girl" actor told Adweek how he had seen firsthand the difference Lopez's representation brings.
Affleck said countless women of color approach his girlfriend to tell her how inspired they are by her example of being a strong woman who demands her fair share in the business world. In his words:
"Jennifer has inspired a massive group of people to feel they have a seat at the table in this country. That is an effect few people throughout history have had, one I will never know and one I can only stand by and admire with respect."
The "Marry Me" Actress Supports Boyfriend Amid Misstatement About Jennifer Garner
While praising Lopez, Affleck insinuated that he would have never quit drinking if he were still married to his ex-wife of 13 years and the mother of his three kids, Jennifer Garner.
The Blast revealed that while appearing on "The Howard Stern Show," the "Good Will Hunting" actor spared no words against his ex-wife, saying:
“We probably would’ve ended up at each other’s throats. I probably still would’ve been drinking. Part of why I started drinking was because I was trapped.”
This set the internet ablaze as many viewers wondered why Affleck was playing the victim after he allegedly cheated with their kids' nanny while he and Garner were married.
A source claimed that the "Hustlers" actress was disappointed in her boyfriend for speaking about Garner in such a way, but she called the story untrue.
Lopez told PEOPLE, "It is not how I feel. I couldn't have more respect for Ben as a father, a co-parent, and a person."
