Justin Hartley Believes 'This Is Us' Character Finally Ready To Fall In Love

Many fans of the popular drama series, "This Is Us" have waited patiently through six seasons to find out when Kevin, played by Justin Hartley, will finally find love. Kevin is a character that many fans have come to love through the years and are rooting for to find happiness.

But is Kevin himself ready to find his life partner? It’s a question that many fans are on differing sides of and which some of the other stars of the show have weighed in on. Kevin is one character on "This Is Us" that has had a rollercoaster journey, especially in the romance department. He was initially married to Sophie (played by Alexandra Breckenridge), and they later divorced. Despite their divorce, the two have displayed several times that they have an unbreakable connection with their on and off situations.

Kevin also found love with Zoe (played by Melanie Liburd), but things went sour when they realized they were on different paths in life. He then had a one-night stand with Madison (played by Caitlin Thompson), which led to the birth of his twins.

Kevin and Madison then tried to make their relationship work by getting married, but she left him when she realized he didn’t actually love her and that she couldn’t settle for him. Over the show’s five seasons, fans have waited patiently for Kevin to settle with one of the women in his life, and they have expressed hope on social media that it will happen in this season.

It is clear that Kevin has a lot to think about regarding his love life and future. From Hartley’s statements during his interview with Story + Rain, it seems that Hartley believes that his character will finally choose his other half.

Hartley said, “He’s starting to understand love, what it means, what it looks like, and what it feels like. He got married when he was really young and made some mistakes. Now he’s older. I always say this about him: for the first time in his life he has the tools, the proper tools to complete the job.”

Many fans took his statements as a hint that Kevin will finally settle down in season six. They have expressed excitement and curiosity about whom the special woman could be, mainly whether it is one of the women he has connected with previously.

Hartley, however, thinks that viewers and fans will be happy with how his story ends and the overall ending. In a January interview with Glamour, he said, “I think the audience will be very satisfied.”

“Kevin went through all that hell and self-doubt and addiction, and he’s found himself in a really interesting place,” Hartley continued, “I think it will be really fulfilling to see where he ends up. It’s nice.”
