Fans React To News Of Nick Cannon Expecting His 8th Child

The hills are alive with the sound of fans reacting to the announcement that Nick Cannon is expecting baby number 8!

After declaring that he would remain celibate until 2022 and experiencing the tragic loss of his 5-month-old son Zen, many people thought Cannon would stay away from babymaking.

As the news broke that "The Nick Cannon Show" host and Bre Tiesie are expecting a son together, fans took to social media with their various reactions.

On Sunday, January 30, the internet was in an uproar as TMZ broke the news on Twitter that Cannon may be welcoming another baby. 

The outlet noted that the massive gender reveal ceremony seemed to have been hosted by "The Masked Singer" star and Tiesi. 

Attached was an image of Cannon in a casual white hoodie and matching sweatpants beside the model who wore a matching sleeveless dress. 

The two were all smiles and surrounded by loved ones. The attendees looked excited beyond words and popped countless blue confetti in the air.

Many fans could not believe their eyes and took to the comments section with their raw reactions to the news.

A critic ranted, "I find this so irresponsible. No way. No way. He can spend time with all those children every day. He may love them." The person added:

"but he is not a full-time dad to any of them. And the women who engage with him. Is it money? I can’t fathom the attraction."

A user chalked the rapper's aversion to contraception to health dysfunction, writing, "I understand wanting to leave a legacy because of the kidney issues. But this is way too much."

A bold fan wanted to know if the offensive terminology that trolls may apply to a woman with several kids from different men can also be used to Cannon, asking:

 "What in the Dora the explorer is going on here? So question for the guys does that make Nick a h* for having 7 kids by different women.?"

A concerned commenter shared worries for Alyssa Scott, who lost the TV personality's 5-month-old son Zen to cancer, penning, "I hope it’s with the same lady he just lost the baby with 🤦🏾‍♀️"

Somebody joked about the state of the "Wild 'N' Out" host's finances with, "Nick Cannon’s accountant when he finds out he has another baby on the way" attached to a clip of a man lamenting.

Another witty netizen made biblical humor, writing, "God: “Be fruitful and multiply” Nick Cannon:" using a video of Samuel L. Jackson joyfully agreeing to the command over the phone.

A supporter defended Cannon, noting, "I don't like Nick Cannon, but you can't deny he's had a great life multiple marriages kids babies money looks like he's having fun most of the time. Wishing him the best."

The Blast revealed that, on Sunday, January 30, multiple photos surfaced showing Cannon and a pregnant Tiesi coupled up with friends in Malibu, California, at their gender reveal party. 

Tiesi was married to FCF Zappers quarterback Johnny Manziel in 2018. The two went their separate ways after finalizing their divorce in late 2021.

Cannon shares kids Golden and Powerful with Brittany Bell; twins Moroccan and Monroe With Mariah Carey; twins Zion and Zillion with Abby De La Rosa; and late Zen with Alyssa Scott.

The Blast shared that the "She Ball" actor promised to stay celibate till 2022 and that he has been doing well.

Cannon said this in an Entertainment Tonight interview,  buttressing that “too much of anything can ruin the process, and he is motivated to spend more time with his kids.

The 41-year-old previously told the outlet he is open to the possibility of having more children as he is a hopeless romantic who loves companionship.

Cannon explained that parenthood could not be controlled as a single man because, unlike in a marriage, he may fall in love tomorrow. He admitted:

“I don’t know what life brings, so for me to be like, ‘No, I’m done!’ And then, you know, I’m walking down the aisle in 2025.”

Despite fathering a small battalion of children, Cannon is not fully confident in the bedroom and is self-conscious about his body.

The Blast disclosed that on the January 28 episode of “The Nick Cannon Show,” the host and guests Dr. Ish Major,  Rip Micheals, Chris Distefano, and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino gathered.

The men were present to answer fan questions on relationships. This was when Cannon admitted that he has intimacy insecurities, adding:

"I’ve been skinny my whole life; therefore I have never liked to be completely naked. I hide under the covers.”
