Bassett Said Rodrigo Has Not Spoken To Him Since Her Debut

Rodrigo also confirmed what Bassett, her ex, said in his December 3 interview with GQ magazine. During their time together, they co-starred on Disney's "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series."

The American actor and singer also inspired some of her songs, including her debut hit single, "Driver's License." In his interview with GQ, he revealed that Rodrigo has not spoken to him since her debut came out.

Bassett And Rodrigo May Reunite For 'High School Musical'

In an interview with Time, the reporter confirmed that the pop star might return to "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series" for season three. Before the interview, there were rumors that she won't return.

People believed that the "Good 4 You" star might not return to the show after amassing so much success as a pop star. Her fame would also introduce busier schedules for her, leaving little time to do anything outside music.
