WATCH Katy Perry Perform On ‘Saturday Night Live’: ‘A True Superstar’

Singer Katy Perry performed on last night’s episode of “Saturday Night Live.”

The “Roar” singer channeled “Super Mario Brothers” on a stage with underground pipes and giant mushrooms. Her backup dancers were also dressed as mushrooms, twirling around fans that read, “Eat Me.”

Perry, herself, wore a mushroom hat and a red latex suit for her performance of “When I’m Gone.”

“Katy Perry is giving us the popstar energy we’ve missed from her for so long,” one fan wrote. “She served lewks, visuals, vocals and choreo!”

“This song is such a BOP!” another added.

“She really knows how to put on a SHOW!” another fan wrote. “So entertaining.”

The singer returned to the set in a puffy sky blue outfit that made it look like she was standing in the middle of a giant cloud to perform an acoustic performance of “Never Really Over.”
