Tammy Slaton is now breathing with a tube after she reportedly stopped breathing, and doctors performed a tracheotomy to save her life.

The '1000-LB Sisters' star recently revealed she is taking a break from her diet efforts to focus on mental health. The decision was made after Slaton told doctors she is suffering from depression and other ailments that are driving her to drink a massive amount of alcohol.

Slaton's medical team believes she might be drinking herself to death and raised their concerns on a recent clip of TLC's popular reality show.

Unfortunately, the reality star was reportedly rushed to a hospital on the same finale after not being able to breathe. According to reports, she was transported to a medical facility where they were forced to do a Tracheostomy, by cutting a hole in her neck to get oxygen in her lungs. In recent social media posts, it appears she is still in the facility and using the trach. It's unclear how much weight she has lost in the rehab if any at all.

This season's finale episode comes to an end after a family member tells the cameras that she stopped breathing.

During the show, Tammy's bariatric surgeon -- Dr. Eric Smith -- stopped by to check on the 35-year-old reality star who claimed she was "battling mental health" issues and "big time" depression.

"Is it worse when you're by yourself versus when people are here?" Smith asks. She responds, "By myself, that's why I kinda felt like I needed to just take a break and not think about diets, relationships. Just clear my mind. Just work on me."

Shockingly, Tammy reveals she is partying to blow off steam, which includes drinking and smoking vapes. As you know, the problem is that Tammy is over 600 lbs and is suffering from various conditions due to her massive weight.

She confesses to the doctors that she is drinking "eight bottles a week," and he is stunned. "Like fifths of liquor? Oh wow, Tammy. That's a lot," he says.

Obviously, the surgeon is seriously worried about the situation and drinking issues. "Tammy's doing a lot of partying, which raises a concern for me," he says. Adding, "That alone is putting her in severe danger." Of course, he wants her to focus on mental health and treat the issues, but this isn't the way to do it.

"She says she's focusing on her mental health, which if that was true, I'm all about that. But she's not made any strides to actually do it, so I'm a little concerned that she's actually just using that as an excuse to buy her more time to not work on her activity level, make some changes in her diet, or anything further than that," he states.

Tammy's sister, Amy Halterman admits to the cameras she is not sure how much longer Tammy is going to live.
