Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song are taking their relationship to the next level and gearing up to walk down the aisle. Per recent reports, the lovebirds are now engaged, and a recent public sighting of Song seems to corroborate the news.
Macaulay Culkin And Brenda Song Are Engaged!
According to a source who spoke to People Magazine, Culkin and Song got secretly engaged after four years of dating. Details of the engagement ― where it happened, when, and what kind of ring ― remain quite vague. However, Song was recently sighted with a massive rock on her finger.
Per The Sun, who first reported news of the sighting, “The Suite Life On Deck” alum was seen running errands on Monday in Los Angeles, and the diamond ring on her left wedding finger was too huge to ignore.
Song dressed pretty casually for the outing, sporting a mid-length black dress underneath an oversized red jacket with sleeves covering her arms entirely. However, the blinding rock peeked out of the jacket’s sleeve on several occasions as she made numerous hand gestures.
Neither Culkin nor Brenda have confirmed the news, and it comes as no surprise given the couple is notoriously private about their relationship. The lovebirds crossed paths while filming “Changeland” in Thailand but didn’t get romantically linked until July 2017 after being seen on a date at Craig’s in Los Angeles.
A month after their first public outing, Song shared a group photo featuring Culkin, but the pair have remained relatively low-key on social media. The 33-year-old actress, however, made an exception in August 2020 when she gave a heartfelt shoutout for Culkin’s 40th birthday.
She described the “Home Alone” star as a magical being and gushed about doing life with him.
The Lovebirds Are Parents To A Baby Boy
Culkin and Song’s engagement comes months after they welcomed their first child together. As The Blast reported, the “Home Alone” star became a father in April 2021 after he and Song welcomed a son named Dakota.

The lovely baby boy was born on April 5 at 1:10 pm, weighing 6 pounds, 14 ounces.
Baby Dakota was named after Culkin’s sister, who passed away in 2008 after being involved in a car accident. She was 29. The couple confirmed the news via a statement that read, “We’re overjoyed.”
The news of a child was long in the works for the duo as Culkin had previously spoken about starting a family with the “Dollface” actress.
In 2018, a year after their relationship went public, Culkin, during an appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” gushed about making babies with his beloved girlfriend.
This one’s a good one, so I’m probably going to put some babies in her in a little bit. I mean, we’ve definitely been practicing. I’m going to have some pretty babies. She’s Asian, so I’m gonna have tiny little Asian babies. It’s going to be adorable — a bunch of Sean Lennons running around the house, that’s what I’m looking for.
The pair was reportedly trying for a while, and it finally worked out for them.
The “Home Alone” Star Had A Rough Childhood
Back In October, Culkin’s younger brother Kieran opened up about their difficult childhood during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. Both boys were childhood actors, with Macaulay being the more famous one thanks to the holiday classic, “Home Alone.”

Kieran remembered how his brother, who starred as Kevin McCallister in the Christmas move, began getting harassed by strangers after the first sequel. He recalled a particular situation where an older woman grabbed the hat that covered Macaulay’s face and said to him, “Yeah, it’s him! You’re not that cute.”
Kieran also touched on the subject of their father, Kit Culkin being abusive towards his brother. Macaulay often publicly accused his father of abusing him as a child.
While Kieran didn’t confirm that their dad harmed his brother, he affirmed that Kit was never a good father or even a good person.
