Why Does Cardi B Want To 'Chat With Meghan Markle?'

Cardi B wants to “chat with Meghan Markle.”
The rapper tweeted out,"I need a chat with Meghan Markle," on Wednesday, January 26.
Maybe she’s putting it out into the universe so it actually happens.
Maybe it was a random thought she felt like sharing.
Or maybe, there’s a specific reason behind why she wants to chat with the former member of the Royal Family.
Cardi Needs A Chat With Meghan Markle
Cardi didn’t expand upon the idea, but her fans did give some theories of their own.
The Blast recently reported on Cardi’s big pay day in a defamation lawsuit.
Earlier this week, she snagged a major legal victory in her suit against YouTuber, LaTasha Kebe, famously known as Tasha K, who hosts “unWinewithTashak.”
On Monday, January 24, news broke that Cardi’s 3-year-legal fight against Kebe for defamation has finally come to an end. TMZ first shared the good news, noting that the court sided with the rapper’s claims that the blogger spread harmful lies about her on the internet.
As you might know, Cardi first took Kebe to court in 2019 after the YouTuber shared several videos accusing the “Bodak Yellow” rapper of prostitution, substance addiction, and being unfaithful for her husband, Offset. Kebe also claimed that Cardi contracted STIs during her days as a stripper.

"By making and publishing the statements, and campaign of harassing videos, including the Defamatory Videos, Defendants were intending to cause Plaintiff emotional distress," the lawsuit stated, and also claimed Cardi B "suffered severe humiliations" and "mental anguish."
After two weeks of deliberation, the gossip blogger was convicted of intentional infliction of emotional distress and invasion of privacy through false public portrayal.
On Monday a jury awarded Cardi B $1.5 million in punitive damages, $1 million for general and $1,338,753.47 in litigation expenses, court papers show. She was also awarded $250,000 in medical expenses, but both parties agreed to reduce that to $25,000.
All in all, Cardi took about $4 million to the bank.
Here's Where Meghan Markle Comes Into Play
Back to Cardi’s Twitter replies and how Meghan fits into all of this.
One fan replied, “In case people didn’t know, Cardi has won her defamation lawsuit against YouTube blogger Latasha Kebe & she was awarded roughly $4 million in federal court. Meghan has been bullied since 4 years now by people that spread lies about her. We need this conversation to happen!”
Another fan shared a Newsweek article titled, “Meghan Markle trolls turned hate into estimated $3.5M industry on YouTube.”
They captioned it, “I am going to leave this right here to explain why it’s important for Cardi B to have a chat with Meghan Markle. The same defamatory nonsense said about Cardi B was also said about Meghan Markle, and trolls made millions doing it.”
“Woot hope you can help her out. Cause this is getting ridiculous with the hate accounts,” an empathetic fan replied.
It’s true that Meghan has been the target of many malicious headlines and media scrutiny.
This was a main reason Prince Harry decided to end their roles as active Royal Family members.
Cardi Fans Defend Meghan Markle
Last February, Harry briefly explained to James Corden why they made a run for California from England.
“I’m way more comfortable with ‘The Crown’ than I am seeing the stories written about my family, or my wife or myself. Because the difference between, that is obviously fiction, take it how you will, but this is being reported on as fact because you are supposedly news,” he told Corden atop an open-air bus.
Earlier this month, Meghan was awarded $1.35 by the Mail on Sunday for privacy invasion.
At the time of her legal win, the former actress said it is “a victory not just for me, but for anyone who has ever scared to stand up for what’s right.”
According to The Washington Post, Meghan will be getting a much larger sum of money from Mail on Sunday, but it will be for violation of her copyright rather than privacy.
Back in 2019, Mail on Sunday published parts of a “personal and private” handwritten letter she wrote to her father, Thomas Markle, after her wedding to Prince Harry.
In the letter, Meghan pleaded with her father to stop talking to the tabloids, saying, “you have broken my heart into a million pieces."
