Hudson Madsen, Godson Of Quentin Tarantino, Has Committed Suicide

Hudson Madsen has died by apparent suicide. He is the son of Actor, Producer Michael Madsen, and the godson of Director Quentin Tarantino.

Hudson's death has been confirmed by his family and officials, at age 26.

“I can confirm Hudson Lee Madsen, 26, died by a gunshot wound to the head in a suspected suicide on the island of Oahu.”, stated the Medical Examiner in Honolulu.

Hudson's mother, DeAnna Madsen, is also an actress known for her roles in The Price of Air (2000), Fall: The Price of Silence (2001) and American Badass: A Michael Madsen Retrospective. She has been married to Michael Madsen since April 15, 1996.

She has three other children.

In an exclusive statement released to The Blast by a rep from the Madsen family they shared:

"We are heartbroken and overwhelmed with grief and pain at the loss of Hudson. His memory and light will be remembered by all who knew and loved him. We ask for privacy and respect during this difficult time. Thank you."

Hudson was found deceased with a self-inflicted gunshot wound on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.

We know that Hudson served in the US Army. His Facebook cover photo was take in Kabul, Afghanistan.

His friends commented,

Sources close to the family say that they were completely stunned by the event, and that nothing out of the ordinary had recently taken place in Madsen's life, that would indicate that this would happen.

Back in September of 2020 Madsen shared that he was 'missing Colorado'.

A friend stated, "I told you, don't hold back do it all while your still there."

Hudson's father Michael, and godfather Quentin, 58, have worked together numerous times, and on films such as Kill Bill Vol.1 and Kill Bill Vol. 2. and Reservoir Dogs.

Michael Madsen won 2007 Best Actor Boston Film Festival for Strength and Honour, as well as 2008 Best Actor New York International Independent Film & Video Festival for Strength and Honour.

Hudson's Facebook page shows that he was married to Carlie Madsen, and lived in Wahiawa, Hawaii. He had over 1k friends, and loved posting images of him and his wife as profile pics.

His last public Facebook post from was January 17th, making a joke that his wife had 'downgraded'.

Michael's Instagram account, while private, shows a 'Wayne's World' inspired profile pic, with the bio stating: "CA-CO-HI. I like My wife and tacos".
